Summary: This laptop works great for what I use it for. I use it for school work and minecraft. It handles any tasks like that very well. I recommend this laptop to you as well if you would use it for things like that too. I like the keyboard a lot, it feels good to the touch and has a number pad. Also it is back lit which is extremely nice. I also like the speakers they are beats audio. Now for the negatives. the battery doesn't last very long. For me like 3 hrs max.
Summary: For having this Laptop for about 2 years, it has served me better then my old computer! The Cons - The WIFI adapter would 'go out' at random points of time, picking up no WIFI signals when I know there are WIFI signals around me. There is a simple fix for it but its not permanent. Its a reset or reconfiguration of the router, which you would go to control panel, to network and internet panel, then to network and sharing center and click on troubleshoot problems and then...
Summary: Bought this laptop refurbished for a great price. It did have a problem with the windows installation about 2 months after my purchase: it wouldn't start any more. Fortunately I had previously partitioned my hard drive with the recovery disk and my own files. Updated the BIOS and reinstalled the OS without any problems after that. Also the multi-touch touchpad has the bottom right side slightly out of place, but works fine.
Summary: I bought this from Best Buy a few months ago. I timed it and it only took about 10 seconds to load when first turned on. Much faster than my old Dell that took over a minute. I love the keyboard: extremely light touch and very easy to type on. The keyboard is also backlit which is really helpful when working in low light.
Summary: Overheats too much while gaming, which leads to the laptop shutting down. I had to give up some games because it was just too annoying to lose my progress. I got a cooler, which I still haven't tested if it has solved the issue, but other than that, I like it.
Summary: fast, reliable, hp, intel, no problems, and it looks pretty too . for under 500 bucks can't beat it..only weakness; audio weak, sounds tinny one would think with todays technology they could improve in that area
Summary: Well I've had this laptop for almost a year now so I decided to review it. Pros: Good size, looks nice, I also really like the backlight keyboard. I love being able to just have all the lights off and still be able to see everything perfectly. I also like that there's a whole number keypad. Laptop is fast and don't have problems with loading things or what not. Plenty of ram and memory. Total overkill really i mean 8gb of ram?
Summary: I purchased this computer as a gift after first buying an Asus. After problems with the Asus, this was the first choice for the recipient and they have nothing but praise for this computer. Based on their assessment, I would highly recommend it. Ordering, shipping and packaging were definitely a thumbs up as well.
Summary: I've been using this amazing computer for 30 days. I bought two of them. One I upgraded to 16gb. I've read other post from Best Buy, that complaint about computer having problems connecting at times to websites, emails etc etc. I have the same problem. I have another HP icord 5 8gb and connects without stalling. Is there a fix for this? Please address where what you may think is wrong. Otherwise I will have to return both of them.
