Summary: It's a really nice laptop with some great qualities. It is an AMD processor, not Intel, so it doesn't get too hot. The touchpad is pretty cool because it has a feature to stop it from moving the cursor when your wrist moves across it. I've had to turn off touchpads on previous laptops while I type, but this one hasn't bothered me.
Summary: awesome upgrade from pavilion g7-2017cl pros: -aluminum chassis (bottom & screen bezel are plastic) -beats audio built in subwoofer gets rid of the tinny feel of regular laptop speakers -crisp screen -runs warframe on mid-high settings at 40fps -backlit keyboard cons: -trackpad a little jumpy and feels loose -keyboard flexes a bit when pressing the "r" key -no dvd drive -not touch screen -subwoofer not powerful enough(in my opinion as a bass junkie) -refurbished version...

Summary: Purchased from Best Buy - I guess it is satisfactory. Be warned though - it cannot accept a 5G network connection, and the wireless card it not upgradeable. Wish I would have know that going in.
Summary: This laptop works great for what I use it for. I use it for school work and minecraft. It handles any tasks like that very well. I recommend this laptop to you as well if you would use it for things like that too. I like the keyboard a lot, it feels good to the touch and has a number pad. Also it is back lit which is extremely nice. I also like the speakers they are beats audio. Now for the negatives. the battery doesn't last very long. For me like 3 hrs max.
Summary: Bought this laptop refurbished for a great price. It did have a problem with the windows installation about 2 months after my purchase: it wouldn't start any more. Fortunately I had previously partitioned my hard drive with the recovery disk and my own files. Updated the BIOS and reinstalled the OS without any problems after that. Also the multi-touch touchpad has the bottom right side slightly out of place, but works fine.
Summary: I bought this from Best Buy a few months ago. I timed it and it only took about 10 seconds to load when first turned on. Much faster than my old Dell that took over a minute. I love the keyboard: extremely light touch and very easy to type on. The keyboard is also backlit which is really helpful when working in low light.
Summary: Overheats too much while gaming, which leads to the laptop shutting down. I had to give up some games because it was just too annoying to lose my progress. I got a cooler, which I still haven't tested if it has solved the issue, but other than that, I like it.
