Summary: I bought this 3rd generation i7 because of its high score on cpubenchmark.com. I'm replacing the ram with 16g as soon as I find some more money. The office needed another laptop because one of our people was going to work from home and we wanted the 17" screen so it would match up better with the...
Summary: We purchased this laptop in January of 2013 directly from HP. I give it 4 out of 5 stars due to a couple of minor things which can be found in my pros/cons list. This laptop has ran flawlessly for over a year now. We've had no major issues with it at all.
Summary: This laptop was purchased for my father, who isn't using this machine for anything very processor heavy. He watches lots of YouTube, and reads the news, so the larger screen has been nice. It's been perhaps a year or so since he's had this laptop, and it's functioning fine.
Summary: Not only is HP very helpful in directing you in the right direction for Windows 8.1 updating, but their Community is also very helpful! This laptop features AMD's APU not to be confused with a regular CPU. This Laptop is sporting a very nice built in fan, as well.
Summary: It is a solid computer, I am very happy with my purchase. This computer was definitely worth the money especially for the amount I paid for it. The only criticism I have is that it's not as fast as I expected it to be. I compared it to my older laptop and it's better than that one but not by much.
Summary: I like to be in control. I don't favor the touch screen. If you rest your wrist on the computer things happen you don't need to happen. The icons and clock pop up when the cursor is moved around the screen.
