Summary: I have been billed for 2 of these machines. I only received one....but the Amazon retailer billed me for 2? I've contacted those concerned and requested a refund on the non-existent HP ENVY. We'll reserve judgement until we receive correspondence from the retailer.
Summary: I am typically an HP fan - still am really. But this computer arrived with an intermittent state of being locked up. Amazon was easy to deal with - they returned ALL money and paid for the return shipping. I can only regret the loss of time - I bought another HP laptop - it is working great.
Summary: I am a believer in HP's DV7 line-up, but I am very, very disappointed in Eluktronics (fulfilled by Amazon) advertising methods. The DV7 I ordered was advertised as "new", but from the second I looked at the laptop box, I noted that something was a bit off. The sealing tape looked odd.
Summary: Bought this laptop, used few days, noticed some noise in a speaker. That's alright with me. Don't listen to music a lot. But when i tried to turn off the laptop, it was turning off whole night.
Summary: It's ok, it works, I would not recommend it to anyone. system too sensitive and keeps jumping all over the place. There is no reason to buy windows 8 without a touch screen, as a matter of fact, I have no clue why they bothered to make this model
Summary: I own an iMac (24" screen) that I purchased in 2008. I'm starting up a small business, however, I wanted a laptop I could take with me, and frankly Macs are still too expensive compared to Windows.
Why is the strip at the bottom of the screen peeling--where the hp logo is located?
22 August 2012
Summary: So far the computer is ok; however, what's going on with the strip with tiny little holes where the hp logo is located? I think for an almost $800 purchase this insignificant but telling thing would not happen. I am a faithful hp customer.
