Worked beautifully at first, but then major keyboard and mouse problems started cropping up
11 January 2015
Summary: The first year with this laptop went really smoothly 2012 - 2013). The laptop was fast at booting up - worked like a true ultrabook - ran programs quickly, beautiful audio, great at multitasking and it has features that are just great including backlit keyboard and more. But since 2014, a plethora of problems started cropping up. Certain keys stopped working including a sticky "p" and a completely frozen "pg up", "pg dn", "end", "home", "delete" and arrow keys.
Summary: Granted, I paid much less for it than the currently listed price (I paid less than $600 and got a $100 gift card from Amazon due to a promo they were having), it is much more worth the price to me than it would be to someone who buys it now. I bought it almost 2 years ago, and for the most part have not had many problems. Main issues are: -the AC adapter just broke (the plug part snapped from the wire??), hence why I am back on Amazon and reviewing this item.
Summary: have a huge Pavailion and 17 "Pavailion Laptop butt nothing can do what my Ultabook can do! It goes everywere! I wouldn't give this up for love or money, I do 99% of m work while I walk around doing other things at the same time. They won't pry this wonderworker fron my hand ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Summary: I asked for a ultrabook with beats. It came with the stickers on it and everything, so he put the stickers on it to make it look like it was the ultrabook. I consider that a SCAM and there are so many problems with it and some of the ram isnt working, you said like new but i know for a fact it was used. Next time people buy, do all the research of people!!!
Summary: It looked cute at first sight.. worked perfectly for a while then started to slow down This however is not the issue as i assume the speed may be a result of how i load the processor and memory My Main bad experience with the product is 5 months of use and the battery kaput. AS i speak, it works like a desktop power wise. Once i disconnect the Power, the battery - which doesnt hold any charge dies off immediately.
The trackpad's really bad, otherwise a good computer

Summary: The trackpad drives me crazy. You can left click with just a tap, scroll with two fingers, and right click at the bottom of the pad, but you have to be very, very careful or the pad confuses those three things. And clicking the button areas at the bottom of the trackpad takes a lot of pressure, more than clicking should. Like someone pointed out above, the power source sticks straight out from the side, which puts a lot of strain on the cord.
Summary: It's nice to look @. I get complements on it @ school, but it's simply. HP needs to step up the screen resolution big time. The cooling system is not the greatest. It gets the job done while I'm in school. After graduation, I'm moving to a tablet. HP could've cut some weight off by putting the ports on the back of the laptop, as well as the ac adapter. The adapter cord can get a short easily if not careful.
