Summary: Avoid this computer at all costs!!! It has been a hunk of garbage since I got it! I got it for college May 2013 and have had it in the shop 3 times already. It is a very unreliable computer and the touchscreen is annoying and files things when you don't want it to. I wish i bought a mac. Save yourself.
Summary: I am loving my HP Envy Ultrabook 1030. It's light weight and very easy to transport. The picture and clarity is brilliant, and I am enjoying the backlit keyboard, I can type in any type of lighting. I recommend everyone go pick them up one. They won't regret it.
Summary: Granted, I paid much less for it than the currently listed price (I paid less than $600 and got a $100 gift card from Amazon due to a promo they were having), it is much more worth the price to me than it would be to someone who buys it now. I bought it almost 2 years ago, and for the most part have not had many problems. Main issues are: -the AC adapter just broke (the plug part snapped from the wire??), hence why I am back on Amazon and reviewing this item.
Summary: So far, I really like this laptop. It boots incredibly fast and gets me back up working in no time. The processor installs all my programs much faster than my previous desktop PC, which had an Athlon II X4 640. Battery life will last about 6 hours while browsing on Chrome and doing minor things, but it will drop to about 3 and a half hours while doing more heavy tasks like installing things, doing system scans, or gaming (by the way this can play modern warfare 3).
Good computer but extremely difficult to deal with HP.

Summary: This is a love-hate relationship. I strongly like the computer, especially the display. The thing I hate is dealing with HP and the warranty. The order was received on July 10, 2014; the warranty date start embedded in the computer was June 3, 2014. I wanted to updated the warranty to the date received. I tried to do it on-line but was continually asked for information not available to me.
