Summary: How awesome would this laptop be if the customizable build options included a touchscreen and a SSD? I like the i7 Quad Core and graphics card. Now HP just needs to put all their best options together into one customizable build bundle.
Summary: I purchased this version after sending back a brand new 17t quad that overheated on me within a day of having it. It's a customized version just like the last one I had (that I returned). So far, the laptop is ok. I've noticed its already pretty warm on the left vent after having it powered on for 15 minutes or so. I'm sad the keyboard is not silver like in the picture (they are black). The backlit keys are always a plus. I will post another review later on as an update.
Summary: I love this brand.Association with a brand like beats, and a title that puts other laptops to shame. A i7 processor, and terabyte stock stirs green in my freinds eyes, especially for the price.
Summary: I have had this notebook for a few days. I purchased it primarily to give me mobile processing for my photographic work when I am on the road. I loaded my various software programs without incident. Connection to the Internet via my in home WiFi seemed to work seamlessly. Unfortunately that did not last and there was a hiccup today when only one website out of the many I tried would function.
Summary: Takes a little getting used to Windows 8, but overall was easy to work with. I DO NOT like the mouse pad at all. The cursor is always moving all over the place, the screen gets big, then gets small and I cannot just get it to stay and be where I want to be. Now I am sorry I didn't get the touchscreen, but the reviews for that weren't so great. Haven't had it long enough to say that it has great features. I only know what I don't like about it.
Summary: contrary to others criticism of the keyboard, I find nothing wrong with it all and would not hesitate to buy a 2nd of these. beats sound is very good for a laptop. there is a learning curve to windows 8.1 after using XP & 7.
