Summary: I love the screen, the color, the sound system, the fingerprint sensor, etc. almost everything in short. the PC performs amazing, starting up within only a few seconds. the only two things i'm kinda disappointed are the trackpad and the plastic cover. trackpad: i've used a macbook air for almost 3 yrs, compare to which, the HP's trackpad is not so good..i seldom use it (usually use a mouse instead). HP really should put some efforts in their trackpads.
Summary: A very good machine. There are a few thing that can be done better but a whole it is very good purchase. The only that this lacks a bit is Driver support from HP but the community is great and you can find a lot of new drivers from the HP user community.
Summary: I was very happy with the product. Premium feel, super fast and the screen was clear. One of the best laptop in the market. There was only one issue, I Forgot the touch screen capability. Mea culpa! Returned the product and ordered the Touchsmart version. Also purchase the accident 3 year extended warranty.
Summary: As we speak i'm using this laptop to write this review, to be honest its truly amazing then what i was expecting to be. The touchscreen is really useful when your used to touchscreen devices, The speakers are enriching for my metal taste of music. Then the GHz on this is faster when you put it on turbo (3.5GHz Max) for playing video games but i suggest you buy a bigger RAM.
Summary: My HP Envy works fine- the Touchscreen, various functions. I didn't like the learning curve for Windows 8.x so I downloaded "Start Menu 8" ... I "upgraded" to Win 8.1, but have not downloaded the Start Menu 8.1 but should. Unlike the negative reviewer who scorches the Audio, I have found it better than other laptops I've owned When I need better audio, I just plugin big speakers. Also, the speakers are far better than my Samsung Galaxy III (which is tinny.
Summary: Well, I honestly wanted to remove this from my shopping cart simply because it is deceiving. I looked at the price on Amazon and it is listed at $904 despite me seeing it with the same specifications from $599.99-$699.99 elsewhere as the wholesale price. I keep trying to figure out why it costs $200-$300 more and keep coming up with nothing other than the fact that they want it to look like a great deal. Sooo keep a look out and see if the price drops after Black Friday!
Pros: This is an overall very good deal. For the money, this thing is loaded with features. Very fast Intel Core i7 processor. A whapping 1 TB hard drive and 12 GB memory. I particularly love the touch screen that performs just like a tablet. Go to the windows app store and download free apps or purchase your favorites. Want to play video games? No problem, this bad boy delivers. With Beats Audio, no other laptop sounds better. Need Bluetooth? We can do it. It has 4 USB por...
Cons: I really don't have any con's. It's a bit on the heavy side.
Summary: The fan broke within the first three weeks. The hard drive crashed after the fan was repaired and the replacement laptop has a wifi card that doesn't connect to the Internet. Waiting for a tech to replace that next. Have been able to use this machine for about three weeks since I bought it. Will never buy HP again.
