HP EliteBook Revolve 810 G2 Notebook Review Update

Notebookcheck
31 July 2014
  • Summary: Better, thanks to Haswell. HP implanted a new heart in their EliteBooks: Instead of Ivy Bridge processors, now the convertibles are outfitted with Haswell CPUs. This was a worthwhile upgrade, as the renovated devices now offer a longer battery life -- and somewhat stronger performance.
  • Pros: Good display with very good viewing angle stability, First-class input devices, Excellent manufacturing quality, Stable case, Very good microphones, Extensive software package, Recovery DVDs for Windows 8.1 Pro, Good battery life, 3-year warranty, The materials HP chose and the computer's manufacturing quality are indisputably great. Its input devices do it credit as well.
  • Cons: High price, Missing important security features, Lower panel brightness in battery mode, No Full HD, Fan whistles/chirps at high speeds, A higher-resolution display.

Review: HP Elitebook Revolve 810 G2 Tablet

Gadget Guy
24 July 2014
  • Summary: While HP might not have been present in the tablet space for all that long — paging the Touchpad, anyone? — recent efforts by the company show it returning to form.
  • Pros: Removable battery, Backlit keyboard, Lots of useful ports, Support for 4G LTE, Has a little more grunt than your standard Atom-based hybrid
  • Cons: Very expensive, Low resolution screen, Heavy, Keyboard is very rubbery and not exactly firm

The EliteBook Revolve 810 G2 can be used effectively either as a notebook or as a tablet PC

Good Gear Guide.au
5 September 2013
  • Summary: HP's EliteBook Revolve 810 G2 Tablet represents a good combination of both form and function. It can be used relatively comfortably as either a laptop or tablet, and the good thing is it's as powerful as a standard Ultrabook computer. Well worth checking out if you want a dual-purpose device for your business.
  • Pros: Solid design and easy to convert, Soft and quiet keyboard, Built-in Ethernet, 802.11ac Wi-Fi
  • Cons: Can feel a little cramped, Could be too heavy and thick for prolonged use as a tablet, Could benefit from a fingerprint reader

HP EliteBook Revolve 810 pictures and hands-on

Pocket Lint
13 January 2013
  • Excerpt: Windows 8 has brought with it all manner of screen implementations. The HP EliteBook Revolve 810 has opted for a central pivot to swivel its 11.6-inch screen around from a laptop-like position into a more tablet-esque, touchscreen-favourable position. HP calls the EliteBook Revolve 810 a tablet, but we're not so sure it's quite as cut and dried as that. For starters, the thickness added from the keyboard makes it thicker than just a tablet.

Test-Update HP EliteBook Revolve 810 G2 Notebook

Notebookcheck
21 July 2014
  • Conclusion: Das HP Elitebook Revolve 810 G2 bietet grundsätzlich alle Vorzüge des bereits von uns getesteten Ivy-Bridge-Vorgängers .
