Slick looking. No touch screen for this price??? And a clunky dongle for your proprietary HP port.

  • Summary: I received one of these for work. This is your basic laptop. There's no touch screen. There's no optical drive (I know, those are passe, but I still like them!). There's no HDMI port. This is very much your laptop for work.

  • Summary: I use for work and travel. So far I like it. it is solid, no issues. Good performance. Battery life is okay for a 14 inch computer. Could be better. The problem for me is click-less trackpad. I've basically given up using it. I carry a small mouse everywhere.

  • Summary: The HP EliteBook Folio 1040 G1 is a class leading ultrabook. It certainly doesn't come inexpensively, but it is hard to argue with its performance. The build quality is exceptional as with all HP Elite series products.

  • Summary: Laptop is solidly built, and running Windows 7, it is a perfect machine for my high school son who takes his laptop to school in his backpack. The lightweight and long battery life are what drew us to this laptop. Screen is excellent. Keyboard is excellent. Trackpad is excellent.

  • Summary: I spend at least a third of my year travelling. I'm also a busy industry commentator who writes words for a living. I need two things - reliability and battery life. I'm given hardware to test on a very regular basis, I've gone through half a dozen different laptops/ultrabooks in the past few years.
