Outstanding laptop, with hard to find Firewire and Express Slot for Audio Recording !!!

DBB "Session Drummer", Amazon
1 March 2015
  • Summary: Outstanding laptop. This review is for a laptop with a free upgrade to the i7 quad. Unit was "off lease" and arrived quick and in almost new condition. VERY fast, and had HARD to find features on newer laptops with firewire with compatible chipset for audio recording with a Presonus StudioLive.

Happy now

Matthew C., Newegg
27 January 2015
  • Pros: Happy now, the replacement works as it should. Recieved an 8540w as the replacement.
  • Cons: No hdmi but that was expected. Speakers very weak.

This laptop has been working flawlessly since I received it ...

Ronnie McBride, Amazon
18 January 2015
  • Summary: This laptop has been working flawlessly since I received it. I was a little surprised because the first time I started it up and checked the specs on this laptop it was actually a M560 2.67GHz. The packaging was very professional and it arrived exactly when they predicted it would.

Great value

Marc Robinson, Amazon
16 January 2015
  • Summary: Ive worked with HP Elitebooks. Solid machines. Machine arrive in decent condition and working. A little exterior dent, but otherwise fine. The keyboard was in great condition (refurbished), the battery used. It comes with 2GB of RAM not 4. For the price an excellent value.

Great Little Laptop

Chris B., Newegg
15 December 2014
  • Summary: It has some touch-sensitive keys right below the display for Wi-Fi, Mute, Volume up/down, etc. Kind of neat and unexpected.
  • Pros: Really fast, pretty cheap, 1080p looks great, need a numeric keypad, looks professional and it's solid as a rock.
  • Cons: A little heavy, and a little old-school looking.

Nice Quality Business Laptop

John T. Bradley, Amazon
29 November 2014
  • Summary: Excellent laptop; superb build quality. First generation Core i5 is o.k., but not much different than my 8530p with Core2 Duo. Sometimes runs a little warm when multi- tasking. Good support from HP and uses DDR3 RAM......but 8 Gig max. Good value for the price.

  • Summary: I picked this PC out because it is the same PC I use at work. I needed it for wife going back to school. Couldn't be happier, very fast, screen is like new, one small tiny little dent on the top of the case, but it's built like a tank. However, if you want a light laptop, this is not for you.

  • Summary: I bought a refurbished HP 85 40 and I thought it might be a good deal at the time. After receiving it and spending some time putting my personal touches on it, I don't think I will buy a computer again at full price. This unit looks great, run better than my desktops and was 1\4 the cost.
