Summary: Very solid laptop. I would recommend it for a student or someone not looking to do anything too crazy. I would highly suggest getting a larger hard drive and upgrading the memory. But all around solid laptop!
Summary: I purchased mine from seller RefurBees. Its refurbished so I was Skeptical But it works perfectly and is in great condition. As for the laptop in general I'm very pleased with the speed and the ease of using it.
Summary: Ive had it over a month and am very happy. Thanks Newegg and the refurb co.
Pros: I hardly ever buy refurb products but Ive dealt with Newegg for years so I took a chance.I ordered it wed. morning and it was here thurs. afternoon in Az.It was packed nicely and when I unpacked it I thought it was brand new.I fired it up and another surprise...No bloatware!Win7 like a new build!...
Cons: 1 con that was resolved. The battery was charged about 30% so I plugged it in and discovered the power cord was bad.I called the refurb co and they sent another one overnight. It worked and the battery is good too.
Summary: I am an IT professional and I planned to use this for Network configuration and basic documents. I shelled out an extra $90 for a Solid State drive to have fast boot times when working on-site. But I wouldn't have HAD to if my hard drive worked properly.
Pros: Decent laptop for the price, i5 early gen and 4 GB of ram give it decent power for Office work or web browsing. Cheap. Nice looking. Display Port.
Cons: My Laptop came with a Mechanical Hard drive that was bad. When I say bad, it ran, it heated up to 160+ degrees C, and programs like Chrome took 3 entire minutes to load. A quick Hard drive benchmark showed that it was having trouble with read / write speeds and it dropped into Kb/s and even 0 KB/...
