Summary: Purchase to HP laptop computer both the same kind. Was unaware that they have no software to amount to anything. Windows only. One computer seems to be okay the other had problems have to send back to the factory. Very frustrating. Will not do this again.
Summary: Received unit, worked great for 2 mos. After 2 mos screen suddenly came up with a one inch stripe down the middle still used it anyway. 2 mos after that WiFi stopped working tried a reinstall many times to no avail. Wrote Amazon, they wrote back since it was over 90 days it's no longer covered. Now it just sits in the closet and I use a tablet I bought locally. My advice, don't make a major purchase online.
Cons: The first one I got had a smashed corner and it wouldn't lock closed. Not damaged in shipping, it was packed that way. I just got the replacement and the screen is bent and it won't close either. I'm done with this, don't want a replacement this time.

Summary: If you see a reply to this post that states they want to help resolve this issue, don't believe it. I have already tried to contact them multiple times over the last two weeks and they (MetroPC) will not reply.
Cons: Laptop died in less than one year. Early on, battery died and they had to send a replacement. This laptop was only used 1-2 times per month.
Summary: Incorrect item sent.Received8530p .It took 3 days to get it charged after I opened the pkg. after I disconnected it from AC power ittold me it was on low power so I shut it down.Reconnected to AC but it will not come on John Downey
Excerpt: This computer said refurbished but it is clearly well worn. The touchpad area has a gloss from being worn down. There are fade marks where previous stickers were.<br />Disappointed as expected something newer.
