Excerpt: My Compaq is very reliable, It has enough memory to hold all of my school work as well as all of my downloaded music files as well as pictures. I would definitly reccomend this product to other consumers.
Excerpt: While I've been a devoted PC user for years, I can't help but say that I will most likely be switiching to a Mac. While this laptop is relatively less expensive the regular Mac notebook, the numerous problems that i have had with viruses, crashed hard drives, and the disfunctionging mouse is not worth the few hundred dollars i would save going with a PC.
the performance of the compaq presario CQ60 = it's value
9 September 2012
Excerpt: I paid $400 for the compaq presario and am more than satisfied. I email, word process and use the web. Not always the fastest, though I can still watch hulu (w/ some patience). My only complaint is that this pc came installed with Windows Vista. So annoying.
Excerpt: I bought this computer in August at Wal-Mart when it was $300. It has been a good computer for the price but if I had paid more I would've been angry because I have alot of "blue screens" that pop up and I haven't even had it a year. Takes forever to upload videos from my digital camera. I also had to get battery charger replaced and it sometimes will not charge.
Excerpt: I knew I needed a laptop for college. But since I am not computer savvy, I had no idea what I needed. I went to Best Buy and told the salesperson pretty much the same thing. She directed me to this computer. I will not lie, it was inexpensive, under 350.00. It is a perfect machine if you just want to check you email, take notes in class, write papers, powerpoints, etc... IF you are more computer intelligent and want to play games and such, this may not be for you.
Excerpt: This laptop was priced reasonably and I enjoy using it. The screen is a great size for watching movies or your favorite television shows. I paid under $400 dollars for it and I definitely do not feel cheated. It comes equipped with internet tv loaded. Netflix and hulu are very easily accessed. This computer is helpful with our home business also. I have not had any trouble using online business tools. There are feature that would benefit this pc.
This laptop ( The compac CQ60) Notebook is not that great
9 September 2012
Excerpt: This notebook is not as great as I thought it would be, I was dusting the keyboard and the " ' key popped off. I took it back to Best Buy to get it replaced or fixed. And was told that they could not do it there, and that it would hae to replace the entire keyboard and it would take at least 3 weeks to come back. Who wants to be without their laptop for 3 weeks?
Excerpt: If you are looking for the run of the mill laptop this computer is about your average computer. There are several things I love about the computer and a few things that I hate. I purchased the computer due to my old one dying and finding a fantastic price on this one. I should have known you get what you pay for. I was intrigued by this computer because of price, screen size, and a built-in number pad and absolutely love those things about the computer!
Excerpt: This computer (Compaq laptop) was only $350 dollars more or less at Best Buy. It is a great deal especially if it is only recreational/leisure and for basic use. For example, we are using this for simple online use, such as Facebook, paying bills, checking accounts, surfing the web and checking emails. We also use the dvd drive for watching movies and burning them. It is also good for playing games, using word and notepad etc.
The Compaq Presario CQ60 laptop is good for light use.

Excerpt: I purchased this laptop for school. I like playing video games, so it was very important to me to get a laptop that had a dedicated video card. The video card on the Compaq CQ60 is very adequate for such an inexpensive computer. I can run Starcraft 2 on low settings as well as other new games. The processing power is pretty good at 2.0 GHz dual core, which helps make games run faster. Unfortunately for some processes it just isn't fast enough. Loading applications...
