Summary: This laptop is good for a person whom only will use it once in a blue moon. However if you are someone, like I, that depends one his/her computer for school and work then you will want to upgrade the memory (RAM) to at minimum 4 gigabytes(Typically will run about $40).

Summary: This laptop touch pad is very difficult to work with. It constantly moves away from the page that you are on to the home page. It has a nice, sleek look but again very frustrating to work with.
Summary: I just want to say to all: do not buy! Compaq isn't even a real company anymore. You go to Compaq site and try to shop for computers, and it redirects to HP site. Yes, HP bought out compaq. But I mean that you don't even see compaqs on HP's site, either.
Summary: The laptop as a machine is fine and adequate for the specification I require. The only problem is the Windows 8 software which is taking some getting used to. I am not impressed by the way the computer manufacturer has programmed the machine to divert to web pages associated with purchasing on-line...
Summary: I like the touch pad being in the center bottom of the keypad. I am left handed and most computers are putting this slightly to the left, forgetting there are left handed people in the world. This gives me more room to place my wrist and this is the reason I picked this computer.
Summary: Very competitive price, nice graphics, let down by the only 2Gb's of installed RAM which slows down it's performance. I have now upgraded to 4Gb which makes an amazing difference & which is easy for the user to install themselves
Summary: The laptop was delivered and not signed for by myself, instead it was given to neighbour, who I do not know and no note left to where it was, I had to look on tracking to find out what had happened. And I didn't get the laptop to the following day. Just as well that neighbour was honest.
