Summary: This is a pretty nice laptop when it comes to using standard programs like microsoft office and video playback for the price. If you need to run heavy programs like AutoCAD or Labview it still works pretty well, you just would need to put it in high performance mode for optimal user experience in...

Summary: i bought this product, for a mom´s teamwork of school, she is so happy, with her product, i think is good for write documents about single projects, and use the datashow in presentations of documentals, for something else, i would not recommend for example games, heavy software, etc ^^
Summary: I am going to make the best of the item because I needed one. It had allot of options that went along with it and I will make sure to use them all. the original program was still running on it so I will have to readjust a couple of thing but i will make it work.
Summary: I've had this for almost two years now and it works a million times better than my last laptop (an HP that cost me $1,000 a couple years earlier). I can't really complain about it, except the stupid touch pad is hard to use and bruises my fingers, oh, and the sound card is terrible, I mean C'MON.
Summary: a good reliable notebook;delivering fast switching speed, great sound quality and exceptional visual effects;this notebook has the basic as well as some advanced operational features that can satify small and corporate business needs.
Summary: FYI, Compaq Presario CQ56-115dx can be upgraded to at least an AMD Athlon Phenom II N970 2.2 Ghz Quad Core Processor, even though the documents, and some articles in the HP forum and elsewhere state that the max upgrade is the AMD v-160.
Summary: I bought mine used on an auction site for $214. It was upgraded to 8GB so it was fast...much faster than my previous laptop. I was shocked how fast it was for the money. It was sold with a wireless mouse... GREAT IDEA. The touchpad SUCKS!. It helps to have IE, Firefox, and Chrome loaded.
