Older buisness class laptop is the way to go.
3 October 2013
Summary: I have used one of the Evo N610c laptops for 9 years. When mine quit I looked at others, in the end I purchased a used unit and exchanged HHD and battery. I could not be happier. I do not do much music or video downloads so the unit works out for me as a buisness laptop and has all of the comm ports, printer port and USB connections for older equipment that I have.
Summary: I bought this computer for my girlfriend thinking that I got a deal. She only used it once when she first got it. Four months later, the computer could not be turned on. I took the laptop to various computer "experts" and they could not figure out why the computer could not be turned on.I NEVER BUY A REFURBISHED ANYTHING ELECTRONIC!!!!!!
Summary: I was slow to install antivirus, and I had to remove a bug off it in the first week(shame on me). The pc has been great. Didn't realize it didn't come with a wireless card(not all that savvi sometimes)
Summary: I bought this computer for my Junior High daughter, figuring she will be able to use it throughout High School. My wish list for this computer would include built-in wireless (cost me another $35), a mouse, and some additional software, but these were easy enough to get and install. Quick and easy setup - I was surfing within a half hour after opening the box.
Summary: I only say that i would not recommend this one to anyone because i cannot get on the internet with it, and i was told that it does not have the card to make it wireless, even though it was suppose to. so i am contacting overstock to see how i should ship this product back to them, or to get help with this item.
Summary: This item was ordered for my daughter as her first laptop. For a young persons first laptop it was a great value.... As soon as she outgrows this unit I will be purchasing a new laptop from OverStock.
Summary: I ordered this laptop as a gift. It arrived without a wireless card, something I would consider fundamental to a laptop. It also contained no programming -- such as Windows Office, Word, or an emall program. Such details should have been noted on the Overstock's description of the product. Still, I feel the price was good for the bare hardware.
Summary: I was looking at used laptops to purchase for my nephew. All I kept finding out there were stripped down versions of refurbs. I was happy to find this on Overstock for the price. You could not ask for a better price.
