Doesn't work with a lot. Bad screen, bad customer service
3 weeks ago
Summary: Purchased the Chromebook to work from home and access my work's virtual desktop. I don't need to save any data on the machine, seemed like a perfect solution. It never worked (my local IT person said that it would, the next IT person had no idea how to set it up in the Chromebook operating system). So I rarely used the machine. After less than 6 months, the screen randomly stopped working.
Cons: screen broke after minimal use, didn't work with work virtual desktop system
Summary: I thought I liked it until I realized you can't watch a Quicktime, a .mov file on a Chromebook. Google doesn't like Apple very much so they make it impossible. This only makes me realize that I need to buy MacBook Air instead. I should have known. So should you before you buy one of these. If you only check email and shop, you should be fine but you're limited to Google's apps, you can't run anything else.
Summary: This is a very nice laptop. Its small size makes it just as awesome. It slips anywhere, not to mention I can sneak this bad boy out of the house all the time. It has a beautiful slick design. It goes perfectly with pretty much anything you want it to. I can't help but stare at it when it's on my desk. The keyboard is awesome. It has the perfect size for my long, over-sized fingers. The shipping was just awesome.
