Summary: Love the portability and size! Great price...super fast internet access and start up time. Great color and sound. Movies/tv shows on line easy to watch. Only drawback so far--since Chrome OS is not widely used, I have found that it can be difficult to use programs/apps. Not many IT people are familiar with the product so they can't really offer support.
Summary: I am trying to get used to the Google Chrome system than the Microsoft Windows. On the positive side, the laptop is lighter and smaller which allows you to carry it anywhere. The battery charges up very fast and the battery does not get hot like other laptops. The Internet is downloaded very fast and you have the choice of Google Chrome or regular Google. The keyboard is very soft and the mouse you can soft touch it or click it.
Summary: This will take some getting used to after years of using Microsoft Windows. The built in mouse is very iffy, but when I attach a regular mouse, I get less crazy. Not exactly handy though. I love Google Chrome and replaced Explorer with it years ago. However with this byzantine process, I still can't figure out if my AVAST! virus protection took. I guess I 'll know when the whole thing crashes and turns to garbage. No, I guess I'm not real happy with this Chrome Book.
Summary: I got the HP chromebook 11 to replace a Samsung chromebook because of the micro-USB charging feature. I wanted to be able to charge all electronics I have from one multiple-port USB charger. If you naively use a random micro-USB charger you may have lying around, it may not charge very quickly. This review explains some of the technical details regarding USB charging that I have learned after much research and trial and error.
