The Gigabyte T1028M is a swivel top notebook powered by Intel® Atom™ Processor N270 1.6GHz and runs Microsoft® Windows® XP Home operating system. It is supported by a Mobile Intel® 945GSE Express Chipset+ ICH7M with 1GB memory via one SO-DIMM slot (up to 2GB supported), a 10.1 inch Touch TFT-LCD WSVGA (1024 x 600 pixel resolution with LED backlit; a 2.5" 9.5mm SATA HDD 5400rpm, 160 GB hard disk drive; input and output interface(s) such as three USB ports, Microphone-in, Earphone-out, D-Sub, RJ45, Express Card, 4-in-1 card reader (MMC, SD, MS and MS Pro) and DC-in. The notebook also features two 1.5 watt speakers with internal mic-in, built-in Bluetooth® v2.1, a 1.3 megapixel webcam, Ethernet 10/100BASE-T, Wireless LAN 802.11b/g/n, 802.16 WiMAX(optional); and can be powered by either a 4500mAh 4 cell lithium-ion battery that provides up to 4 hours of computing time or a 6 cell 7650mAh battery for up to 6.5 hour of usage time (optional). The notebook measures 265(W) x 214(D) x 41.4(H) mm and weighs 1.3kg (with 4 cell battery) / 1.48kg (with 6-cell battery).

The 10.1 inch screen supports 1366 x 768 screen resolution with LED backlit and is powered by Mobile Intel®945GSE Express Chipset+ ICH7M. The notebook also features a 92% full-sized keyboard, up to 160 GB of hard disk drive space on its SATA HDD that spins at 5400 RPM allowing users to store files, music, movies and videos as well as documents, and Smart Manager Intuitional Setting. The notebook comes with a Multi-Touch Mousepad, Battery Check Design and is upgradeable for its HDD and memory for any future changes.
