Summary: I ordered this at £340 as a replacement for my mother's old Toshiba which had suffered a broken screen. At that price it's a steal! Very high spec for the money I paid, but at the £426 it is as I write this review, I'd say it has a lot of competition, so shop around.
Summary: Bought this for my mum several months ago. The only thing she's had trouble with is windows 8 as it's not as intuitive to use as Windows 7 was and sometimes jumps around the screen, e.g. randomly deleting text. Very frustrating!
Summary: Bought laptop for my daughter for college. The internal speakers stopped working after a few days use. She phoned the helpline and after 30 minutes on the phone to them and 2 reboots later it eventually worked.
Summary: This. Laptop has very good specs. for the money and is well put together (ie.sturdy) although aesthetically the black matt plastic finish is a little basic, that can be overlooked at the price.
Summary: Cheapest price around for the specs you get. Reasonable build quality and performance. The laptop can benefit from a better quality screen as contrast isn't great and the pixel size is huge. I assume this is what drives the price down.
Summary: This is a very cheap laptop for what you are getting. The build quality is a bit flimsy but not too bad, the screen looks a little washed out and the styling is fairly bland. But you are getting a fairly fast processor with a graphics core that can play older games fairly well for a very good price.
