Summary: Fijutsu , gets very little praise or attention in the Laptop world . They do not advertise a lot nor are they sold in very many places. I have owned a few of these in the past and have never had any trouble out of any of them. It is my opinion they are very well built Laptops , although I did not like the Made in China on the bottom of the laptop. Don't get me wrong, China is capable of making some fine products , Apple for one.
Summary: I bought this computer about a year ago, and its really holding up, very well built, has not slowed down at all. I bought it for $499 from Frys Electronics. Well worth the price, as most other comparable computers are 750/800+. The cons are the speakers (they arent the best, somewhat quiet) and the battery life. It has become increasingly worse as the year went on,and im considering just switching out the battery.
Summary: I bought my Lifebook because I'm on a budget and I like quality. I run my own business and use my laptop *a lot*. I really couldn't care less about how well this thing is going to cope with rendering graphics on games. I don't give a hoot about how accuate the rendition of colours are going to be when I download photographs. I have no interest whatsoever in how fabulous the processor may or may not be when I'm editing movie files.
Summary: I got this labtop for college use because my old one was getting outdated. This is my third fujitsu A series labtop and I really like the brand. Their is some concern with the battery life. The most I've gotten with a charge is three to four hours. The touchpad is very strange because it moves even after you lift your finger. I think there is a way to change that but I just haven't found it yet. I can hook up the blueray player to my led thought hdmi and it is fantastic.
Summary: If you have found this in Amazon you are luckier than I was. It wasn't listed under Laptops in Amazon and I've never seen an ad so I initially bought an HP ProBook 4525S. That has a screen that was DOA. No problem with the refund but we decided to go with a different manufacturer. I knew of Fujitsu as the maker of high quality scanners and saw this laptop reviewed with a slightly different configuration in an Asian computer magazine.
Summary: I like Fujitsu so much! This is my third laptop in 8 years. Made in China now. ( used to be made in Japan) It is reasonable price with Core i5. The screen is good to view. I bought that one year ago Nov 2011. Dec 4, 2012: NO sounds already. Internal speaker does NOT work. NO GOOD!!!

Summary: I bought this a couple weeks ago at a Fry's in-store special for $499 and I'm still amazed at the deal this is. I wasn't ready to buy a laptop until tax time next year, but when I saw the features for the price I couldn't resist. Intel i5-2410m processor, 640GB hard drive, express card slot for USB 3.0 or Firewire, 4GB ram, VGA & HDMI, Intel WIDI wireless display to TV, bluetooth, and to top it all off, Blue-ray. What's really impressive is the overall speed.
Summary: This laptop probably is the cheapest priced laptop currently available in the market with core i5+BD rom on a 15.6 inch. I got it from frys electronics for $550 including tax. After using for 2 weeks 2 observsation that almost making me to return this even i may get hit with the restocking fee of $85 is : battery life is just simply terrible. it will last only an hour or so even when it is sleep.
