I actually think it's a good product in action, but very fragile,

Summary: It's actually a product easy to use, their function is efficient, but I think some are very weak with some very fragile as the gpu failure and repair is somewhat expensive, but when Mother board works is good, efficient and good graphics
Summary: I love my xps 13... The only things that erk me are the finish shows ever single finger mark. Also the computer runs very hot when watching a movie, running multiple programs, or just blocking the vents(very easy to do). Other than that if you can get around these faults the computer really is a great machine. Plus the free windows 7 upgrade is awesome from dell! get the larger battery also if you have the option i get about 2 hours web browsing.
Summary: When it comes to computers, Dell has had a pretty good reputation for "build quality" in their products. But, they also have a reputation for notoriously bad "customer service". One thing that I never expected from Dell was a laptop that was not only built well, but also a real "head-turner" . But that's exactly the case when it comes to the Dell M1330 laptop.
Summary: Mine was one of the very first ordered with all the options except for the finger print reader, eg nvidia graphics, 200gb 7,200 rpm hdd,, 4gb ram, led screen & red colour (black wasn't available due to technical issues , nor was the T7500 cpu so I got a T7250. Laptop was delivered early sept 2007- so an early model. After 3 melted motherboards (all replaced under warrenty (the last in 2011) my m1330 now has the final A15 bios, a T9300 cpu, 8gb ram and a 7,200 rpm hdd.
Pros: Light, portable and still reasonably quick even today
Cons: optical drive failed, 3 new motherboards replaced under warrenty
Excerpt: I purchased 4 of these laptops approximately 3 years ago for the company I worked for. They were purchased through Tesco who delivered at a very reasonable price and next day delivery - (not to mention the free clubcard points). In general the laptops have worked fine the large memory capacity is certainly useful. However after approximately 2 years all of the laptops developed an issue with the graphics card on the motherboard. Mine was the first to go.
Excerpt: I have been using a Dell XPS M1330 for two years. It is pretty fast and can handle my heavy email with hundreds of emails. Many application such as office, media center, Zune, iTune. I am pretty much carry it everywhere I go and it over 12 hours every day. It could be a little lighter but i like the performance similar to a desktop. Over the last two years, many parts have been replaced. The hard drive was replaced twice. Dell support has been excellent.
Pros: Performance; Design
Cons: Feels heavy if you want to carry it and travel around the world .
A good laptop if you are looking for a jack-of-trades with a focus on good media experience

Excerpt: I have had this laptop for well over a year now. I bought it because I was looking for an adjunct to my desktop on which I do all my primary work. I am assuming in this review than most people reading this will be familiar with the technical specifications of the laptop. - if you are not, just take a look at the product information page. General: the laptop looks good and solidly-constructed.
A satisfactory experience but could have been better

Excerpt: DELL XPS M1330- I am using this laptop since more than 20 months now. A good experience with design, weight, style, looks, etc. but I noticed a big problem with it- HEATING. It heats just too much, not sure if its only my piece or its every XPS. But the heating is like so much that I can't keep it on my lap sometimes. The fans runs at full swing with good noise but heat is just uncontrollable sometimes. I need to shut it down for few minutes and then start again.
Excerpt: iv had this laptop for about 1yr now, its very well made, one thing that is a pain is finger prints, its nice when its new then its looks a mess, but i suppose any laptop is like then now. It has all the normal ports you would exprect, hdmi is a big help so you can watch internet tv on your tv, i didnt know that the sound goes through hdmi as well so less cables.
Excerpt: Small laptop that really packs a punch! I must admit when my company bought me this laptop 4 years ago I was excited, I think I had every right to be excited the first 6 months were awesome never before had I worked on a laptop that was so powerful. So first to the amazing stuff if you've got the top of the range version get yourself windows vista/7 x64 to really get the most out of the machine, then try installing any applications/game that need big graphics and sit...
