Summary: I bought one of these computers new with just about all the options in May of 2012. It was a great unit until the motherboard had to be replaced. Dell took care of it the next day. Three weeks later they were replacing it again along with the touch pad. Two weeks later another motherboard, touchpad and keyboard along with some software upgrades. It worked this time for almost a year. Now just about the same problem.
Summary: Remember how you used to make fun of Pabst Blue Ribbon? Remember? Tastes like tap with a bitter beer finish? Like the water in your friends sort of murky aquarium, with only the "slightly" sluggish plecostomus slinking along the bottom? Yeah, those jokes were hilarious, and then one day, you're over at your friend's house, it's hot and sticky outside, you've been helping her weed her nearly dead garden for like, 3 hours, in the blazing sun and humidity, and you open her...
Summary: This laptop has created endless problems for me from the day I bought it directly from Dell to the day it died a few months after warranty expired. Immediately after I opened the package I noticed that there was a problem with the construction: there was a large gap between the bezel and metallic body of the computer, enough to slide coins into the computer. This was obviously a defect, so I called up Dell, and they replaced it.
Summary: This is a great laptop for what we use it for, as we needed another laptop for our embroidery designs and digitizing. It's lightweight, has a large screen, fast, nicely spaced keys, and the sound is great on the tutorials. Great computer from Dell, and we normally don't by Dell's products. This one has a lot of bells and whistles, so to speak, and the price was awesome. I haven't found anything yet, that I dislike about it.
Beware: it breaks right after the warranty expires - motherboard and hard drive die...

Summary: This is my second laptop from Dell and the last one! After a bit more than a year (14 months to be precise), right after the warranty expired, I got the battery issue (I had the same thing with the first Dell laptop). One day the laptop just turned off by itself and when I turned it on, it was written "Your battery is temporarily disabled. Please turn off your computer and try again when the unit is back to the operational temperature".
Summary: By far the worst laptop, wireless issues which keeps dropping signals even with latest drivers and 2 replacements, silver trim comes off easily, static electric charge issue, if this laptop was given to me for free I still wont take it nothing but problems.
Summary: I purchased this for a Christmas present for my son. It stopped working after less than a month. Seller wouldn't take back, Dell said it wasn't under warranty after 3 weeks and the extended warranty I purchased said I needed to go through Dell.
Summary: I purchased a Dell laptop for my son from Amazon and this seller filled the order. A few weeks later the laptop died, either a bad power supply or motherboard. I called Dell to initiate a warranty claim, and they told me this machine was registered to someone else. The seller claims that was impossible and send it back to them. I did, and they replaced it with another unit.
Summary: Good performance in most games. finishes are excellent, the illuminated keyboard is the best option that includes this laptop. web cam has a very good resolution. is a good deal for the performance and price.
