Summary: I have never been much of a fan of Dell for a variety of reasons. I was drawn to this model due to the form factor and hardware specs, at a price that is more than reasonable. In short, the best value I have received in a laptop in some time. A note up front, I purchased a "Like New" model. First, while this laptop isn't Haswell, it still has good performance and battery life, the dedicated GT630M is an added bonus.
A Great Laptop for the Price, Can Almost Forgive Windows 8

Summary: This really is a beautiful laptop, elegantly designed with a rich, quality feel to it. The bottom of the laptop has an almost suede like feel to it and the packaging only enhances the feel of luxury. It doesn't seem to fully fulfill the requirements of an ultrabook, it is definitely an aesthetically elegant machine. As for Specs, the i5 with 500 Gig hard drive is plenty beefy, especially at the price that Amazon is selling this for.
Wonderful laptop; though i dont think it really qualifies as an 'ultrabook'

Summary: I've had this laptop for the past 3 weeks or so now and i really like it. I dont think it really qualifies as an 'ultrabook' based on its specifications but thats up for debate since the ultrabook term is used so loosely now. Either way, this is a good laptop for you if: you want something thin, well built, lighter than the normal laptop, and easily able to do all the normal stuff and maybe some less graphically intensive games and light photo/video editing.
Summary: This is an initial, first glance/use review. I will hopefully update it in a few months after continued, heavy use. Ihave had it for 5 days, and this is my impression. Initially, out of the packaging, it is a sleek, minimal looking machine with very nice specs. In a world with countless laptops and configs, this is a nice middle of the road laptop for a fair price at $650. The laptop does boot/hibernate/wake/sleep very fast, which is nice.
