Summary: I think this is an excellent little computer. It is small and light enough to be an effective tablet, and big enough with enough computing power to be an effective laptop. The screen is beautiful. The keyboard takes a little getting used to, but it's really not that bad. In just a few weeks of use, I'm able to use it almost error free.
Summary: I've been using the dell XPS 11 for over a month now and am extremely satisfied with the product. The design is awesome and the carbon fiber finish looks sleek. The laptop is very sturdy and very lightweight. It's got an ample set of ports for connectivity. It does have a few rough edges, the keyboard takes a little getting used to and I had to turn off the keyboard clicks since they were out of sync with keystrokes.
Summary: I wanted an ultra-book and a tablet combo and the XPS 11 does it better than others I looked at. The screen resolution is 4 times higher than most of them. It is light and highly portable in both modes. Battery life is excellent for carrying it around the house most of the day. As a tablet, the screen is folded all the way around so that the static keyboard becomes the back. It remains quite thin and easy to hold.
Excellent Hardware - Windows 8.1 is difficult to get used to
2 January 2014
Summary: I am very impressed with the hardware on this PC. This PC is so small and light. Incredibly portable and tremendous battery life which means I probably won't bother to carry the power cord. Rather treat it more like a phone, charge each night and don't worry about running out of battery during the day. Display is very crisp. It is 2560x1440 which may be beyond my perception in an 11" monitor, but it looks great. Gorilla glass makes me optimistic for it's longevity.
