Summary: I just spent all morning trying to get to Dell service. I kept getting routed to the wrong department. When I got to the right department, either the call was disconnected or the technician was inaudible. I am giving up and will look into returning the computer.
Summary: No customer should buy this product once again I have invested 1643$ on this but I missed that item when is was requested for the refund they even not responded for this request waste customer service from amazon
DO NOT BUY THIS COMPUTER!! IT WILL NOT WORK AND THEY WILL NOT REPLACE IT!!

Summary: I bought this computer for my fiance for school and it has been a complete NIGHTMARE. Google Dell laptop cursor problems or mouse problems. The computer randomly will select things when you dont even touch it! She cannot even use the computer because while using it the computer will select a different window, or tab, or paragraph etc etc. We have told dell of the problem and been through hours and hours of customer service bull crap.
Summary: Dell's technical service told my mom to download System Mechanic and it destroyed her computer. It can't even turn on now. They are only offering her a refurbished laptop and they claim no responsibility even though she bought the program through Dell. He made me read the warranty which explains what they believe they are "responsible" for but since THEIR technical service rep persuaded her to buy and install the program you'd think Dell would step and say, "I'm sorry,"...
Pros: Light, powerful, and good enough for what my mom wanted to do on it. She composed music through computer software and would copyright it and etc.
Cons: Dell destroyed her laptop with system mechanic.
Avoid, avoid, avoid! Great looks terrible performance.

Summary: I bought an XPS two weeks ago and from the start it froze or rebooted after closing the lid. So I spent 8 hours on the phone with Dell tech trying to work this out but it did not work. Finally a return tag was issued and I sent it back. I trust (or trusted) Dell so I immediately bought a new XPS assuming it had just been a one in a thousand situation.
Pros: Great looks. Solid construction, it is a beautiful machine.
Cons: Computer freezes or reboots after closing the lid. It has happened with two computers. Dell wanted to send a technician to have the motherboard changed, on a three day old computer!!
Summary: I highly recommend not to buy this XPS 13. You will avoid a lot of headaches. It is apparent that Dell released this model before ironing out many critical issues. For the price we users deserve a much better finished product.
Pros: Light and thin.
Cons: *** No Hibernation., *** Trackpad/touchpad very irritating to use, very jumpy or hardly moves., *** Screen can only be opened very little past vertical., *** Minimal ports. 1 USB 2, 1 USB 3.
