The Dell Studio XPS 13 is a notebook that is powered by an Intel® Core™2 Duo Processor T9800 (2.93GHz, 6MB L2 Cache, 1066MHz FSB) and runs Genuine Windows Vista® Ultimate x64 Edition/Home Premium x64 Edition, is supported by up to 8GB5 1067MHz DDR3 SDRAM memory, NVIDIA® MCP79MX chipset, NVIDIA® GeForce® 9400M G or NVIDIA® GeForce® 9500M-256MB graphics card, and an "Edge-to-edge" Glossy 13.3 inch WXGA CCFL LCD display (or upgrade to a WLED LCD display). It also supports 4 Watt Integrated Stereo Speakers (2 watts per channel, 2 channels). Users can configure the notebook to support either a 500GB configured with a 5400RPM hard drive, a 320GB 7200RPM hard drive or a 128GB Solid State drive. The Dell Studio XPS 13 also supports an 8X DVD+/-RW Slot Load optical drive, a choice of either a 2.0MP Integrated Webcam (with CCFL display) or 1.3MP Integrated Webcam (with WLED display), Dual Digital Array Microphones, Dell 1515 Wireless N Mini-Card support, Dell Wireless 5530 Mini-Card for AT&T™/Dell Wireless 5720s Mini-Card for Sprint™ Dell Wireless 5720v Mini-Card for Verizon™, Bluetooth® 2.0 support, and the following input and output: one USB 2.0 compliant port, one USB 2.0 compliant/e-SATA port with Powershare port, a 15-pin VGA video connector, IEEE compliant 1394a port, integrated network connector 10/100/1000 LAN (RJ45), 54mm Express Card slot, Display Port, HDMI Port, AC adapter connector, Audio jacks (2 line-out, 1 Mic-in) and a 8-in-1 Media Card Reader. The Dell Studio XPS 13 measures 12.56x0.88 (front)/1.35 (back)x9.3 inch and weighs 4.85 lbs.

Features

The Dell Studio XPS 13 features optional genuine leather accents with 13.3" edge-to-edge display and comes in Arctic White color. The optional genuine leather, aluminum accents and magnesium alloy form factor also supports a backlit keyboard and touch pad buttons, a battery power indicator on the hinge and capacitive multimedia buttons that glow white when activated. The Dell Studio XPS 13 also features optional NVIDIA® Hybrid SLI™ technology which combines two GPUs that allows users to watch Hi-def content, DVD movies and play games and eliminate the performance notebook battery life compromise by providing either graphics performance or longer battery life as and when required. The unit can be connected to an HDTV through the HDMI port to view HD content on the big screen. The unit is also supported by speakers for sound quality and can be connected to a home theater system via its HDMI port for 5.1 Dolby® Digital surround sound. The Studio XPS 13 has features that provide users the capability to stay connected virtually anywhere with WiFi, optional Bluetooth®, gigabit Ethernet or mobile broadband. Other features include integrated webcam and dual-array microphones, so users can stay in touch with friends and interact with the online community, facial recognition security software, Dell DataSafe™ Online™ that lets users back up data to a safe, remote storage site using a broadband connection; Dell Remote Access for access to photos, music, movies and more on a home system using another Internet-connected computer; and Dell Support Center..
