Pros: This is the second E6410 I bought from this company. The first one was much better. No issue there. This on works too just some cosmetic problem with parts not fitting.
Cons: This computer had the wrong screws for the bottom cover and the part that light up over the key board that shows battery and WiFi did not fit so there is a bump in the keyboard. Could not upgrade memory, tried the same type memory to upgrade from other model did not recognize it. Bought memory from crucial and still did not recognize memory. It is a risk buying used computer so beware.
Summary: While the product was delivered promptly and the hard drive included the Windows 7 OS, the keyboard and speaker grill had a white granular substance - composition unknown! However, the real problem has occurred as I use the keyboard. There is a distinct clicking sound that is not common on previous Dell Notebook keyboards I have used. The keys will also stick in the down position of the humidity is high.
Summary: The product was not customized, rather it was a manufacturer refurbished. Yes it was clean on the outside, but it cost me a lot to clean it up from the inside. It is not all that fast but that's okay for me.
Summary: I noticed when checking this today that they have changed the description pics to no longer show the items that were supposed to be included in the package. I guess that's one way around supplying what was supposed to be included in the purchase.
Pros: The laptop was is good shape and arrived with most of what was supposed to come with it (battery, power supply and laptop arrived). It was loaded with the correct operating system, although it won't allow creation of a restore disk. There appear to be no dead pixels, the battery holds a charge decently and the power supply / charger works. This would have been a five-egg review had my install disk (which was shown in the product description pictures at the time of pur...
Cons: The Windows 7 Professional 64 bit install disk that was supposed to come with this (the main reason I purchased this particular laptop over the same model advertised without it) did not arrive, and my attempts to have it sent have been futile. I've spoken with reps at Newegg and Dell with no success in getting what I paid for. To make things worse, the laptop won't let me make a restore disk. I guess that it will be totally worthless if it dies on me thanks to the ina...
Paid for 2 laptops with 4GB RAM each. But I got only 2 GB RAM on each m/c. Upon escalation, DataSales shipped remaining 4GB RAM
20 June 2013
Summary: 1) 2 LAPTOPS PURCHASED WITH 4 GB RAM, BUT ONLY 2GB RAM DELIVERED ON EACH LAPTOP. Upon escalations, received the missing 4GB RAM after 8 days. 2) ONE LAPTOP HAD BOTTOM COVER OPEN - I CLEARLY CAN SEE INTERNAL PARTS .. PHOTOS ALSO SENT TO SUPPLIER DATA SALES -- But the Vendor DataSales response is: Fix-it-yourself.
Summary: Heureux utilisateur (malgré la batterie morte au bout d'un an) d'un Latitude D620, suite à un changement d'emploi on m'a également changé le portable, en me proposant un Latitude E6410 que je me suis empressé d'accepter.
