Dell's product quality is not competitive with other brands for the money.

  • Summary: To make a long story short, I never want another Dell anything! We have 3 Dell laptops and 8 computers total. Electronically Dells are OK. Their absolute weakness is the outside cases of the computers. The screen simply broke off one. (That is the one I replaced on eBay.) The keyboard failed from use in a year. Dell needs to work on the computer coverings to be as durable as any other brand. They are not roadworthy. HP is MUCH better.

  • Excerpt: I have had the dell latitude e5500 for a year now.  It had some bugs and gliches to it, so we had to have it looked at several times to get things running right.  Now it runs fine, it is good enough as a basic laptop, no bells and whistles... meaning it doesnt come with a cd burner.  Although it does have a cd- rom.  The keys are easy to use and nice size.  The touch pad is finicky though and at times doesnt respond right away, in other words there is hesitation.

  • Pros: goedkoop
  • Cons: degelijkheid, traagheid opstarten, behuizing, bediening
