nothing like picture

onestopshp, Ebay
1 April 2014
  • Summary: Just to be fair the machine seems to operate all right but the hard disk cover is broken, the display frame is broken, battery is dead and it is nothing like the picture shows. If i the cost of posting it back was not high i would definitely send it back. It all could have happened during the mailing process because if poor packaging but what i received is far from what i expected to.

Piece of junk

ALG, Meijer
29 July 2013
  • Excerpt: This computer looked like a computer from 15 years ago. It is a pile of junk. Keep freezing up and ctrl alt del wouldn't even work. Had to hard shut down several times. Needless to say I returned it. Don't waste your time or money.

Refurbished Model is Junk

Uncle Andrew, Newegg
23 December 2012
  • Summary: First of all, let me say that I cannot return this item and have not tried, because I violated the warranty and replaced the hard drive. This is my responsibility and I totally accept that. I am not giving this laptop one egg because I cannot return it; I am giving it one egg because it is, in my opinion, not suitable for resale as "factory refurbished". The level of quality, features and fit and finish is far more suitable for "used", or perhaps "bought at garage sale".
  • Pros: Small, lightweight, fairly perky, comes with Windows 7
  • Cons: -Refurbished Windows 7 version lacks many drivers, add-ons and features of original Dell product
