Summary: Im sure this was a good laptop for its time but these days this won't really cut it. Its a single processor and very very slow even with light internet browsing and the one I got had a virus or patch bug particular to Windows XP, something about the windows update software, tried to solve it but it didn't work so well. Fortunately the Amazon seller was very knowledgeable about the issue and offered to replace it with a better laptop for the same price.
Summary: This product didnt meet the basic needs for my 11 and 13 year old kids. They weren't able to download much. The operating system was not as user friendly as I would have liked. In process of returning one but keeping one.
Summary: I'm not that satisfied with this purchase. The best thing I can say is that the laptop works, and that's about it. I knew that I was buying used, but I expected it to be in a better condition than it is. The screen is loose and wobbles constantly, I have to keep it plugged in because the battery falls out at times with no warning. I've had to resort to tapeing it in. It constantly runs slow and the internet shuts down.
Summary: Item description said it will have 2GB RAM but laptop has 1GB RAM. Item description said it had 120GB hard drive - in reality it only had 56GB. Item description said it will have antivirus pre-loaded.It did not have any AV. After ordering the item, they said the description they showed me was not what they had said. Disappointed that item description was simply a bait to lure people in.
Summary: Laptop was very hot after about 20 minutes of use, almost too hot to touch mouse pad and bottom of laptop, due to a faulty/defective battery. I was afraid it was going to catch on fire; it got so hot laptop would shut down. Finally, after a few days, battery just quit charging, etc. Took the battery completely out and laptop works fine. So, now I have a "desktop" until I purchase a new battery, which is not so good because I do Medical Transcription on the go.
