Excerpt: Stay away from this laptop. The good thing is that this Dell Latitude D600 is very old (ancient in computer standards) and it is difficult to find and purchase. This is good as this should stay out of the public's hands. I feel sorry for the poor soul who stumbles across this laptop and has the bad sense to buy it. This thing lags way too much. It is powered by a 1.6ghz, very weak processor.
Ok if you just want a netbook, heck not even not in 2011

Excerpt: Cheap I suppose but, its not really worth the dollars paid. Seriously what can you run with 128 ram? what can you do on this thing please do tell. They should just unsolder all the parts and recycle it. But anyway the other sources tell me that d600 actually has 512 ram. So lets go with that. Please do not buy the 128 ram listed on this website for 65 dollars.
Excerpt: I have had this Dell for the last year and I have constant problems with it. It is highly susceptible to viruses, it cuts out all the time and generally is a pain to own and operate. At first, the first 5-6 months were fine with it for the most part (except the battery does not last long AT ALL), then all of a sudden, it started getting every virus known to man and no protector would help it. It's almost too much work for me to even use now as it struggles each time...
Excerpt: I bought this product from a seller on here in Feb. 2010, and I have to say I hate it! There were several problems, first the laptop I was sent the first time was defective. The battery would not hold a charge and the actual computer would not run on the power cord. Second, I was sent a whole new laptop, quickly, I might add, and the charger for the laptop was a different brand and would not work with the computer I purchased.
Summary: My laptop arrived with obvious signs of use, a non-functioning AC adapter, and no frills whatsoever... such as installation disks or user manuals. All you get is the laptop and a power cable (that didn't work, in my case). It was cheap, though.
