Summary: I bought this to replace my aging C400. with everyone in a panic over XP no longer being supported I can pick up nice older laptops for really cheap. I switched to Linux a decade ago after XP was such a disappointment compared to w2k. I'm using this laptop every day and it does everything I need (Firefox, Thunderbird, OpenOffice).
Summary: These little laptops are cheap, extremely light, and built like a rock. The C2D processor and 2gb of RAM is more than enough for basic computing and even video streaming. Its a little sluggish on startup, and doesnt handle multitasking as well as newer laptops, but considering the price, it performs VERY well. I've bought 3 of these for elderly family members who are first time computer users, and they have been great. HIGHLY recommended.
Summary: I really like the team, so go buy it very good, and give very good rendimeinto in speed and Electica spend little energy. I really like the team, so go buy it very good, and give very good rendimeinto in speed and Electica spend little energy.

7 February 2014
Summary: Great system! With 2.0GB Ram and 80.0GB and Intel dual Core, Dwere Tech Research Team installed OSX Leopard (Now) and Windows 8 Pro and the system runs perfectly. We are in the process of testing it with SSD drive. Stay tuned for tat review.
Summary: its a good laptop for my 12 year old. the seller went above and beyond by sending a brand new battery to our home for it no extra charge. very friendly seller felt like i was dealing with a friend instead of stranger.
Summary: Ordered one 2 years ago. I came with original charger and 9 cell battery. Still works after 2 years of heavy usage, battery lasts for about 1 hour. Great deal! i recommend it if you need solid notebook that will take lot of abuse, but, however computing power is not enough for uptodate software.
Transformer type flexible design, solid (metal) build quality, Excellent

Summary: This is a fast that's extremely solidly built and works with all my other Dell Latitude peripherals perfectly. I had originally wanted a netbook but I'm much happier with the D430 from Dell. The option of using a full Dock or a Docking base for portability makes this notebook super flexible. Really solid build makes it travel well.
Summary: The Latitude D430 is the best kept secret among used laptops. Because of its size & weight, I've been using a D420 when travelling and traded up to a D430 for faster processing speed. Plenty of power for emails, web, and Office apps. Lightweight with decent battery life for layovers. Definitely recommend this model with 2GB and 80GB HDD along with an extended life battery....you'll be all set with everything you need.
