Summary: Bought it as second laptop for travelling. Good substitude to normal laptop since easy to store in luggage. Only needed office to make it up for daily computing on the ride. Handy enaugh to carry. Got at fair price via internet auction.
Excerpt: Unfortunately, the only good things I can say about this notebook is that it's sturdy and compact. Maybe it's just me and my fat fingers and notebooks weren't made for people like me, but the typo's abound when I use this. My kids, however, have no problem. One thing that is annoying is, that the screen zooms in for no reason. I'll be on a web page and all of a sudden the print is very small. I'll look down and the zoom is @ 75%.
Excerpt: I normally do not like dell products but I am a changed person! I purchased this netbook for my teenaged son at his insistence..or should I say begging? I bought it for him due to its light weight and portability. The one that I purchased does not have a cd drive nor does it have a dvd drive. IT is very durable and has great quality sound. It's rubberized outside makes it sturdy. It does not slide. It has little rubber feet on it.

Summary: These net books are honestly a crime against technology, the product designers at Dell should be extremely ashamed of themselves for creating such a monstrosity. The latitude 2100 has been in use at our school in Melbourne, Australia for the last 2 and a half years, in that time, practically every student and teacher at our school has come to the same consensus that these netbooks are practically rubbish.
Pros: I am struggling to find something good about this product
Summary: After having a look at this little machine I am amazed that DET went with the lenovo. This netbook has a great battery life, great cpu power and also great hard drive space. The rubber like edges makes it perfect for a school enviroment and the size makes it easy to put in a school bag or even hold.
Summary: Our school is implementing them across the senior levels, while the juniour levels get an iPad. All 1400 students and teachers are in absolute universal agreeance that these are the single worst computer devices ever created. The touch screen is inaccurate and useless, the buttons are far too small for even the smallest of hands to type with, they lack the ability to perform simple tasks like opening a word document or a web page within a resonable time, the rubber...
