  • Summary: this is a great laptop. a super clear screen large enough to watch movies on. lots of keyboard space and six usb ports. plus a ton of other features. i run windows xp with no problems at all. beware of people who bemoan all dell products. a company that large with an overwhelming satisfaction rate.

It's a keeper

  • Summary: Very nice machine. Purchased one of these back in 2006 and has been running ever since. With a little work and tech knowledge of hardware issues it has plenty of power to run various software applications. Its heavy but durable. Love it. Running Win 7 ultimate, 64bit.

  • Summary: we waited a long while in antispation and when it arrived the battery was not being recognezed. It had no start up program at all . we had to buy Windows 8 our selves and install a program just in order to use this computer.

7 years and still going

  • Summary: What a workhorse. I have owned mine for over 6 years and never had one issue. I have updated the ram and hard drive, but that was driven by installing new OS's. The laptop has perfomrd flawlesly running XP, Vista, Windows 7 and now Windows 8. I have never had to replace the screen or keyboard.

  • Summary: I've had this laptop since spring 2007. Right now it is fall 2012 and the laptop is powering my 27" Samsung monitor. I've had to replace the video card (GeForce Go 7900 GS) once, which is fine because it was under warranty. I also have replaced the fan (a ton of dust was building up).

Still Usable After 6 Years
