Summary: This is a great multi-media laptop--the 1080p screen is very nice. Plenty of cpu power, memory and storage. Battery life is the only disappointment. The honeycomb aluminum panels are attractive, but show hand and finger prints.
Summary: Got this to replace my 9-year old (!) Dell which was struck by lightning. The only downside in my opinion is the 16:9 ratio of the display. I know this is generally all that is available nowadays because manufacturers assume that everybody does nothing on their computers but watch movies and play...
Summary: With the exception of a slow HDD, this system is perfect for those looking for work / technical laptop with Windows 7, good 1080P Video card. I replaced the HDD with an SSD within weeks of getting the laptop and the improvement in system response is staggering.
Works fine, just as I needed (Windows 7, good memory, hard drive, and monitor HD)

Summary: I wanted to upgrade my HP-Pavilion (Win 7, i3, 500GB HD, 4GB RAM, not HD Monitor) and most of the computers in the market were Windows 8. For the kind of work I do Windows 7 is more appropriate. This computer is just the right upgrade and works all fine for the 4 weeks I have used it .
Summary: I paid for a 15R SE for $799.99 from Laptop Deals and More which is an independent Amazon seller. Instead, I got an Inspiron 15R 5521 which costs $598.00. I was ripped off and I'm not happy about that. I sent a second note to the seller and still have heard nothing.
