Excerpt: I Dell Inspiron 6000 is an average laptop computer in my opinion. The things that I don't like about the laptop is that the Wi-Fi is not the greatest in the world and when you have anything on like a microwave it tanks. The hard drive is small and you can not put a lot on it and the the battery does not last that long once you remove the power cord. The things thats are nice about it is it is portable and compact you can take it with you when you go.
Dell Inspirion is a good laptop, has pros and cons.

Excerpt: I have a Dell Inspirion 6000 laptop. I have had this computer for almost 5 years, I have had little problems with the laptop, but I feel that there are good and bad things about it. The laptop has lasted me a long time. It has little damage, just the usual wear and tear. I have Windows operating system on my laptop, and it works great. One thing about the computer that is not the best is the sound system.
Excerpt: This Dell Inspiron 6000 laptop was wonderful 4 years ago when I originally bought it. I spent over $1,000 on it. However, now, 4 years later, while it still works, I realize that it is outdated. There are many laptops that are lighter, faster and with larger screens that are much more up-to-date and frankly, better buys. This laptop has a wireless router. It also plays DVDs. However, the programs that came with the laptop are not equipped for many DVDs.
Excerpt: The Dell INSPIRON 6000 is a fantastic looking laptop because i like the silver. The display is at 15. 4 in which is not bad and will allow you to see games and DVDs. There is a 256MB of RAM which is not bad but laptops at this price contain more RAM. One let down for this laptop is its very small hard disk drive at only 30GB, these days they go up and up. This is ok if you only want to store photos and music, but not for lots of games.

Summary: Hmmm I have mixed feelings about this laptop. I bought it from Dell around 3 years ago and paid a fair bit for it, although I did upgrade the memory which didnt help. Its good points are that it comes with a fair bit of spec. Bluetooth is included which is great for transferring over pictures quickly from your camera without having to spend ages finding a cable and installing software. It is also very lovely to look at.
Summary: I purchased this Dell 1 and a half years ago thinknig it would be great for the use I wanted it for, paying games, downloading music, and music production software. At first, it was...but now, a year and a half later the problems have begun. I am having to completly back-up everything on my hard drive and re-install Windows XP Home Edition, as the computer is so slow, always stalls, programs never responds, and music playback it always stuttering.
Pros: Modern, sleek design. Great to use at first
Cons: Short battery life, unreliable after a year or so
Excerpt: "One of my friends has had this laptop for over a year and never complain about i. Del Inspiron 6000 has done quite a good job in satisfying a student like my friend. First thing first, PROCESSEOR There are three options of Intel Core 2 Duo for you to choose. T5300 at 1.73 GHz, T5500 at 1.66 Ghz and T7200 at 2.0 Ghz. Therefore, I only chose this laptop over others because I was able to get all the typical specs for a low enough price. LAPTOP'S SPECs: The specs I managed to get on this machine is as follows as Dell allows you to customise: Pentium M 740 (1.73Ghz 2MB L2 cache 553 MHz FSB) & ATI Mobility Radeon X300 graphics choice 15.4 inch ...

Cons: its weight, noisiness, heats up pretty quick
Excerpt: "...looked very promising on the Dell website, 1.8GHz Intel Pentium processor, 512MB RAM, DVD burner, standard graphics card and wireless connections, and Windows XP Pro yet supposedly simple enough even for someone new to laptops (i.e. me). It all went great until I actually started using it. The first problem I hit was the screen. At 17" widescreen it should have been ok, but the levels of brightness available make viewing difficult sometimes even ...
Pros: Large screen, stylish looks, good technical support from Dell
Cons: Short battery life, heavier than most laptops, unreliable
