Summary: I used this computer before I could afford enogh money, as I got it a while ago, forgot about it, and then found it again. It can barely run games, videos, etc. and works okay at browsing the web. Lots of times, it freezes, then you hear it cooling and it runs again, which takes about 5 min. One of the hinges popped of as well, which was suprising as I seldom used this computer back when I first bought it.

Excerpt: I recently got this laptop as a gift from my Aunt. The first night i got it i reloaded it completely with the Windows Vista CD i got with it. Personally i don’t like Windows Vista but it really works nice on the laptop. Funny thing is, when you start using it makes xp seem bland. At first, i thought it was a laptop that’ll work better with windows xp. But nah, it works really good with vista, doesn’t use too much processor …but the memory goes up.

Then I replaced the fans and upgraded the 1.73 GHz Celeron to 2.0 GHz T7100 Intel Dual Core CPU's for my wife's and Intel T8100 Dual core 2,2GHz on my Dell and upgraded to 4 Gig of Ram on the Memory.
Summary: I've had this laptop since 2007 (or early 2008 - can't really remember). it's December 8th 2013 and this laptop is still alive!! I've used this laptop throughout college and it's helped me out A LOT. I mainly used it for productivity, ie MS Word and PowerPoint. I have also upgraded to Windows 8.1 -- although obviously it's non-touch computer. The only really problem is the fact that after a 2 years or so the battery just stopped charging.
