Dell Inspiron 1525

The Inspiron 1525 features Dell’s MediaDirect utility. This feature gives users one-button access to their digital media and other content, without the need to boot into the main operating system. It also has Instant Office, which provides the same functionality for accessing PowerPoint presentations, Outlook contacts and calendars.

Specifications

The Dell Inspiron 1525 uses an Intel mobile computing chipset that offers support for Core 2 Duo processors, Intel’s Integrated Graphics Media Accelerator (GMA) X3100 and support for up to 4 gigabytes of DDR2-667 SDRAM.

For wireless connectivity, the Inspiron 1525 has a Dell 802.11g Mini Card and support for integrated Sprint or Verizon mobile broadband.

The 15.4 inch TrueLife (glossy) widescreen has a native resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels (WXGA). The laptop can be configured to have an integrated 2.0 megapixel webcam. For outputting video, the Inspiron 1525 offers HDMI, VGA and S-Video.

In addition to a SATA hard disk drive and a Dual Layer DVD+RW/-RW optical drive, these laptops also offer an 8-in-1 memory card reader. Input and output ports include 4 USB 2.0, IEEE 1394a, 2 headphone, 1 microphone, Ethernet and an ExpressCard/54 slot.
