Summary: I bought this laptop because I needed one in a hurry for school. This laptop is uncomfortable to use. The edges on the laptop where your wrists would sit to use the keyboard are sharp. I could use an external keyboard but then what is the point of having a laptop. I will be returning this laptop.
Summary: Received "first one" within 36 hours. Upon turning on, it says no boot device found. Tech support went through diagnostics and determined HD was bad. No big deal, until it was going to take 7 DAYS to get a replacement?.? Will probably leave good review once I receive on that works, until then I have nothing to go on. Should not take a week to get a stock, non-customized laptop.
Summary: I got this laptop and within 4 months Dell replaced a motherboard, the hard drive and now the mouse pad is not working. I am being offered a refurbished computer to replace this computer that in 4 months has been refurbished. I wish I could say good things as I did not buy a new computer to have a refurbished one in 4 short months. More than disappointing, and now after many hours of trying to get help, I am now being ignored. Sad.
Summary: For more than 2 months after my 12/6/13 purchase date Dell advertised this laptop with the Intel® Dual Band Wireless-N 7260 2x2 AGN + Bluetooth 4.0 card. It really comes with a much lesser single band card. The card it comes with makes the WiFi unusable (dropped connections, weak signal only 20ft from our router). Dell tech support would not replace the card with the advertised one and said my only option was to return the laptop and buy once with the right card.
Summary: Bought for my dad as he wanted Win7. Disappointed in overal shell. Seemed plastic was really cheap and flimsy. Despite an i5 processor and 6GB of memory, this laptop was slooooow. Slow to boot, slow to browse the web, slow to open applicaitons, etc. I use DELL in our office and support them all day long. I would go nuts if I had to wait for this thing to boot, troubleshoot, etc.
