Summary: I bought the Dell Inspiron N4110 almost 2 years ago thinking it would be a decent computer for me to use while I am in college, and it was, but it came with a a couple of problems: First off (I don't know if it's just me but) the laptop is really noisy. Every time I turn it on in a public place a lot of people turned to look at me because of the loudness of the fans. Even after I used the compressed air,for computers, on it, the fans were still loud.
Summary: Fans are super noisy and are constantly running, yet the bottom gets very hot. Speakers are on the bottom so you need a hard surface for the sound to reflect off of to hear anything. I needed a laptop quick after my old one died (failed motherboard) so I figured I would give Dell a try. Mistake; at least when it came to this model. My girlfriend bought a 16 inch and it was worlds better than mine. Gave it a two because it is decently quick with the i3.
Summary: This is my first Dell laptop, and it should be my last. The plastic chase is bad, it make noise under my hand when I write. The laptop is very slow, I had a HP Pavillion before this Dell, and it's a lot faster with an older processor and less memory. I really don't recomend it.
Excerpt: The computer itself is great! However, the tech who sold me the computer suggested turnaround (to set up the new computer) was generally two business days and they worked seven days a week. It took four days and setup did not start until day four. That was a disappointment - especially since I was working on school deadlines. You would think paying for premium setup, the process would be expidited.
Pros: Easy To Set Up, Easy to Use, Efficient, Quality Construction, Reliable
