Summary: I bought this laptop used with upgrades including a 500GB 7200RPM Hard Disk Drive, brand new internal LCD, and an external DVD-RW Drive with Lightscribe for $377 USD. It also came with the soft case, box, and everything else you'd get with it had it been purchased new. Despite being an excellent buy for the money, I was a bit concerned if it would be a good enough buy for myself, as its intended use was to be a work computer for graphic design and animation.
Summary: I have owned this notebook for about 6 months now and I'm really happy that I bought this machine. I really wasn't in the market for a new computer but when I got a new job that requires me to be away from home about 90% of the time, I had to get a desktop replacement to help keep my sanity (TV is over rated). This little guy is awesome small and easy to carry around. The battery can last me between 3 to 6 hours depending on what I'm doing.
Summary: I can play all my games on max settings np, the battery life is amazing, and It's so tiny and cute that when you travel with it..many heads will turn! If you are interested in buying this laptop Please note there is no way to change the color of the Alienware Head on the back of the monitor, it's not a big deal but it caught me by suprise. I brought this at almost all max setting with the core i7.
Summary: When first purchasing this I did not know what to think. Wanted a good laptop but did not want to pay alot of money for. Went to Dell site and for everything laptop has in it put it why over the price I purchased it for. It Intell dual Core processing speed 1.30Ghz,4GB OF Ram and can expand up to 8GB. And a 250GB Harddrive and a very good 11.1 viewing screen with a 720p HD viewing and a dedicated graphics cards 1GB which means one hella gaming machine.
Summary: It's a netbook in size only. This thing is a gaming POWERHOUSE! It can play all of the latest games, the only thing it lacks is an optical drive, but i gains by a pre-install of the Steam Client and Portal for free. only thing that i don't like how the backplate isn't customizable anymore, and you can't laser etch your name into the plate when you buy off of amazon.
Summary: This laptop is amazing. It plays every single game I own on maximum settings, except for starcraft 2 where I can set everything to Ultra except for shaders. Portal 2, Mass Effect and Oblivion all work perfectly with all settings maxxed. With shaders anything other than low I can barely manage medium settings for some reason, which is weird because shaders depend on the graphics card rather than processor.
Summary: Awesome laptop with amazing performance for it size. It will play the latest games from medium (COD MW2) to high/ultra settings (SC2). This thing also never overheats. Its pretty big for a netbook but def worth it! Thanks to nVidia Optimus technology, the battery life on this thing is fantastic (3+ hours playing online,5+ hours regular web surfing, watching videos...).
I have had this Laptop for just over three years now and it is excellent

Summary: Like the title says, I have had the laptop for just over three years and it has been the best computer I have owned so far. I have never had it fail on me, have dropped it numerously times by accident, been stepped on by my siblings and has simply coped with all the abuse it has had thrown at it. I have not had to change a single thing out of it. The processing power by today's standards is still amazing.
