Summary: Just so you know I bought this lappy when it was around the £500 mark, not sure why its £800+ at the moment. I researched loads around all different processors and GFX cards and future proofing, and decided to take the plunge on this little baby. I do not regret it for a second.
Summary: Love it, Love it, Love it. Great for everything basic or advanced. Not to heavy good connectivity. fast booting (even from cold) All games play great thanks to gt 635gt. Skyryim, Fifa, Grid all play on high settings very well. Battery is normal for this type of machine spec i guess...
Summary: The harsh 1 star ratings are unjustified in my view - check the model on the manufacturer website before buying... fools. Mind you, they've done me a favor because I got this great little laptop for a steal.
Summary: Having searched high and low for an 'ultrabook' with dedicated graphics and armed with a budget of £500, I came across the Asus U32VJ. In the absence of sensible reviews, I put my trust in Asus and bought it. And I'm so happy that I did!
Summary: This isn't solely an issue on Amazon. If you search on any site for a U32VJ it will show the above pictures. The only problem is that it doesn't actually look like that. It's similar. I've uploaded a pic of what it actually looks like. The Specs are correct.
Summary: * * * * EDIT - Dec 2012 - The pictures have now been updated to show the correct product * * * * Yeah, yeah, yeah the picture is wrong, but if you search for this product on ANY website it will display the same (wrong) picture. I've uploaded a pic of what it actually looks like.
Summary: It's not a Zenbook It's not aluminium It's a plastic , note book Can't believe Amazon itself would try to con customers be aware. I have sent it back I want a unibody top of the range slim Ultrabook, I got a plastic fat notebook
Summary: The description is completely wrong. It is not a zenbook and looks nothing like the pictures - its actually like the U32VM, this is a mistake I would not expect from Amazon. It also arrived late. I'm sending it streight back.
