great design, average performance, terrible touchpad
13 July 2014
Summary: The Asus Zenbook looks very stylish and professional. I'm very pleased with its design, love the matte screen. Though, it is a little slow in running programs. The thing that annoys me the most is the touch pad, which does not always work. sometimes the mouse just stop working. sometime I can use the two fingers to zoom in/out, or go up/down but not always. that is pretty terrible for a brand new laptop after a day of use.
Summary: I loved it, really solid, classy, great stetics, perfect display (a must if you reed a lot on screen) Portable and FAST As described: HD 500GB +24GB SD Drive RAM 6GB (you are able to change de de 4GB ram) Integrated video card + G Force (use on demand, not allways, to save battery) Procesor i7 1.9 (4core) Display perfect USB x3; all 3.0, 1 whith power (all compatible with older USB) Battery: 4-5h on save mode, arround 2h in high performance, dont now in gaming HDMI x1,...
Summary: I had an equal and it was stolen, but i liked it so much that i decided to buy an equal. It's an awesome ultrabook. Super ligth, nice design and overall powerful. I can't wait to learn Cuda and see it's all potencial.
Summary: I got this laptop about 3 months ago for my birthday. I know that it's the older model, but we couldn't find any other laptops that fit my specifications (at least 500 GB storage + dedicated graphics + ultrabookness). I have to say, this laptop did everything I wanted and more. I can play Skyrim on it (low resolution, but Skyrim's low resolution looks like some other games' high) at a pretty good speed. I didn't notice any lag, even while fighting.
Summary: This product is excellent. Not heavy and very thin. If you want an ultrabook for daily stuff such as working, it will serve you in the best way. Probably you can also use it for gamming but not with all configurations in high quality mode. If gaming is what you want, you can change some hardware and improve this machine.
Summary: I purchased this laptop because it is one of the few on the market with an IPS screen - it's about as close as you can get to the Mac Retina display and I just have too much PC software to move to a Mac. I found this one to be reasonably priced because it wasn't geared to gamers as much as the other IPS display models.Since I am a wedding photographer, I wanted a laptop that could handle Photoshop & Lightroom, but also had a fairly decent hard drive.
Summary: Purchased months ago, so now it's time to review. For the most part, it does the job. Daily internet searching, emails, paying bills, etc. Most annoying is the keyboard. I must type with my hands above any lower section or it inserts letters in the wrong place, (i.e. back in the middle of previous sentences)...That's the only negative I can report. It's a home computer:) Does have a nice trim framing, looks OK setting on the desktop. Battery life is OK..
