Summary: i'm pretty mad about this, tbh. as soon as I got the laptop i was having issues with programs 'not responding' or my internet stopping. i have to keep skype open at all times because it's the only way I know if I stop having a connection. it doesn't even make any sense because when that happens i open the networks and click on mine - not even to disconnect and reconnect. i just click it and the internet is restored. so that sucks. and programs crash pretty often.
Summary: when I first got the lap top i was unhappy that i could not use the computor for more than 40 without it shutting down on me causing me to loose all the work i put in to my class work than i had to pay another 60 dollars to have it fixed by the people that sold it to me so i was not at all happy with the lap top at all or the extra money i had to spend on repairs i would not buy another computor from this co

Summary: I highly recommend that you DO NOT PURCHASE THIS COMPUTER. First the battery life when you just purchase it the battery will be strong, and after a month really bad. 2nd the graphics card turns off so much and you have to reset your computer to turn it back on. Also all the Windows 8 pad gestures get really annoying so now I'm using it with a mouse. And I'll never forget the time I got blue screen on this.
Summary: It would have been better, IF...the product had come with the power cables that matched American power outlets. Buying the correct cables after the fact cost quite a bit, negating the "deal" Amazon offered on this laptop. No response from Customer Service. This is a singularly bad interaction with Amazon, in an otherwise shining history of shopping with them for me. Cannot all be winners, I guess.
This laptop was sold with a European power cord and I had to buy a new one to use it

Summary: I purchased this item for Christmas. My son opened it on Christmas Eve and we found the power cord was for a European outlet. Amazon was quick to tell me to call the manufacturer to fix the problem. However there was nothing on the website or product information that this would be sold without the appropriate power cord connection.
Summary: Okay, so this IS a budget laptop, however, there are a few things that are REALLY annoying. It is advertised as having a 500GB hard-drive. It DOES NOT have that! Most of it is used on a D: Data Disk Drive, so you only end up with the ability to use 185GB - JUST NOT GOOD ENOUGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Further, I agree with previous posts about the track pad, you left and right click and move about your screen with one pad, which is really plasticky and it's quite annoying.
Summary: There are so many problems with this laptop. Firstly, it comes with a horrible piece of software that someone decided to call 'Windows 8' (not to mention a virus called 'McAfee'). This is easy enough to fix if you know how, but it took a lot of research and running around in circles.
