Summary: I got this new from my work, for my job as a support rep. I use it all day for up to 10-11 hours straight. Its never missed a beat yet. It had windows 8 on it, but I installed windows 7. (its not a tablet after all) I run dual screens, and have multiple tabs open in chrome on both screens, as well one tab in firefox, a VOIP program, Avast Anit-virus and often 2-3 other work specific programs (telecommunications).
Pros: Runs great for day to day business use. Pretty decent at multitasking. Streams HD video fine and even runs older, or lower end games pretty well.
Cons: Not a powerhouse. Is not meant for gaming. Could benefit from another 2gb of ram and maybe a turbo feature on the CPU. I'M ALWAYS HITTING THE MOUSE PAD WHEN TYPING!!! Very irritating.
Very good Computer and I got a pretty good deal too

Summary: When I first got it, I seriously considered sending it back. I have been using windows XP for a long time and windows 8 was just way too different. I do really like the sound cards in the Asus and that is why I bought this computer. I am a Musician and DJ so that is important for my work. Slowly I am getting used to using the windows 8. The only complaint I really have is that the touch pad is a bit hard to use on this computer.
