Summary: This product is really not working. This first time I brought it, the screen was not working. After returning it, I received another one that have USB issue now. I believe this model was flawed with issues. Sorry Asus, I will never be your customer again. (Amazon should not be selling this laptop).
Summary: The laptop itself is fine, it has a great design and quality. Display and performance was also satisfying. But unfortunately, I found it not working properly for twice, which made me replace once and eventually refund it. Had to spend too much time and energy to deal with this laptop. Hope I don't get broken item again for the next purchase in Amazon!
which is great if you like having a bunch of useless apps

Summary: A reasonably priced gaming computer. as long as it's plugged in, it runs Diablo 3 at optimal settings without missing a beat. Comes with windows 8, which is great if you like having a bunch of useless apps, and no calculator. Windows 8 is really bad in itself but this is a laptop review so I won't go there. This sexy thing is sleek and light. One thing that can be a problem is the power cord has a fat box at the plug.
Summary: I have had a ton of issues with this laptop. I have had to wipe it several times due to issues with programs and the operating system. Granted windows 8 isn't my favorite OS and the issues that come along with that are not the laptops fault. The design of the laptop is sleek and it is very light weight, however. For the price and the components inside the laptop, it seems clunky and slow at times. Programs that shouldn't occasionally crash.
Summary: Hi all, typing on this laptop right now. These other reviews helped me make my decision regarding the buy so I do want to pay this forward. Background: Graduated college student with a $1000 budget to replace a 1-year-old A55A Asus laptop purchased from Amazon. Was looking for something mainly with better graphics and stronger wireless receiver to be completely honest. Also, I'm not tech-savvy at all, just your average college student level computer knowledge.
Summary: Overall, I'm quite pleased with this laptop. Works great, fast, more HD space than I'll ever use, good sound. However, I don't care for the combination headphone/microphone port....with earbuds I can hear myself breathing.....very distracting & annoying. Not so noticeable with my Sony light-weight headphones. Also I wish the charging port was on the right side rather than the left, but if my outlet was on that side maybe I wouldn't care.
Summary: I tested this on Titanfall at 1366x768, but everything had to be on the lowest settings for 30 - 60 fps. The heavy fps fluctuation depended on the map, if it was a firefight, and how many Titans were on screen. 5400 rpm hdd is very noticeable. Expect delays when doing certain tasks. When I first did windows update, it needed 100 updates. For me, this took 2 and half hours to download and install—only for it fail to configure which then reverted all 100 of them.
Summary: After I ditched my Sony Vaio, I was looking for a budget laptop which could give me the performance of an i7 CPU and and great graphics for my gaming addiction. However, I always ended up finding high priced products that exceeded my budget. Luckily, I found this amazing machine. The price was marvelous. I play all the latest PC games with it without any complaint. I'm impressed.
