Summary: Love this laptop. I don't do anything crazy on it. Mostly use it for playing a couple of games, social media, storing pictures and editing them and burning them to disc. I have had this laptop for a little over a year now and the only problem I have had with it is that probably every 1 out of 5 times I shut it down it won't shut off I will have to hold the power button to turn it off.
Excerpt: Nice computer and has most of the bells and whistles! Sometimes I can type fast than it responds, but that can be adjusted I believe. I have to find the setting that I probably inadvertently changed to sinc it to my TV to have a larger monitor. I did have it once. I bought the extended warranty and will pursue that. Overall a great computer!! Thank you!
Summary: Very nice and fast computer. My husband and I have to get use to windows 8.1 but we really liking it now. We are still finding new things out everyday. The only drawback is that there is not a camera card reader, and needs more USB ports. other than that it is great! I would recommend this computer for anyone.
Summary: Very good PC, have a good core I5 for a cheap Price, 4gb of ram is good, but you can increase to 8 gb if you want. The keyboard is confortable, touch pad response in perfect way, the screen have a good size and excelent definition quality, the battery life is more longer tan other laptops, the weight is light. The only problem is that not have a card warranty, so if oyu have to active this, you can't do it. If you want to buy a cheap and good laptop, buy this!
Summary: Had some initial problems due to outdated wireless drivers that didn't work with Windows 8. It made the wireless lose connection all the time. I had to manually update the driver from the ASUS website. Once I did that it has yet to drop the wireless. Also I updated to windows 8.1 and set it to boot to desktop instead of the Metro interface (those annoying tiles). Now it works pretty much just like Windows 7. As for the hardward this laptop is great.
