Horrible Customer Service. Pray you don't have problems.

  • Summary: ASUS has the single worst customer service and warranty program I have ever had to deal with. If you do buy their product, you'd better pray that you don't have any problems with it, because you won't get any help from ASUS. In the year that I had one of their laptops, mine broke down 5 times. Every time I sent it into their 'service' center, the part they replaced failed again within months, or even weeks.

  • Summary: I did not purchase this exact model but It was an Asus laptop. I just want to inform everyone of how TERRIBLE this company is. For those that like short and sweet....computer is less than a yr old and been sent back to be "fixed" twice for connectivity issues. have had this issue for over 6 months now. I will do what I can to stop any one from buying from this company EVER. Now for the long version-- Been on two tech chats to try and solve connectivity issues.

Don't Buy ASUS

  • Summary: Power code died on 2 week of use. ASUS customers service was horrible suggested I go buy the power code on their site that it would be faster and I would save on postage too....I was horrified at their customer service operator. Call them they sound like they are Colorado and Smoking the gangaaa. Don't buy ASUS they sell defective products but worse yet they do not honor their warranty.

  • Summary: Hey ASUS and AMAZON!! In case you haven't herd yet: Windows 8 SUCKS! Please provide more OS options!! How about Linux Mint 17? Its awesome, free, and comes preloaded with TONS of really great productivity and multimedia software! Or how about the Haiku OS? You could dump a few measly million dollars in to that project and free us all forever! YOU NEED TO ADOPT A MORE DISRUPTIVE MARKETING STRATEGY TOWARD Microsoft!!!

dissatisfied - keep freezing and being slow

  • Summary: The computer has given me problems almost immediately. It keeps failing to update. Slow even when I am not doing anything computing intensive. It would freeze for no reason. Once, after an update, Google chrome disappeared. I try to restore it to a previous image and as a result the computer did not restart anymore. So, I had to reboot it, losing all my programs already installed. Nevertheless, after the reboot, it still has weird behavior.

Terrible product, terrible service from ASUS

  • Summary: This product is not even 60 days old and needs another hardware repair. Asus has terrible support. They are sending a label so that my "new" laptop can be out for service for another week. Unless you want to deal with frustrating on-line support and returning your product for service and having it unavailable buy another laptop, from another manufacturer.

  • Summary: This is the SLOWEST computer I have had since I owned a 286 unit. I downloaded a program on my HP laptop in 15 minutes. The exact same program on my ASUS, with the same windows system, took 75 minutes to load. Stay away from this snail system.
