Summary: Not the best computer, but for the money its good. Often it needs to reset and update. it freezes up when playing some games my daughter plays, but for basic internet use and printing and such, it's fine. The charging cord did not fit well, and I have to finagle it to get it to charge. But hey..
ASUS was recommended for it's study build and design

Summary: The device itself was what I wanted. It lived up to expectations. The trouble with it was the Battery. The battery did not keep it's charge for very long. After 30 mins. the fully charged battery would be completely discharged.
Summary: when i purchased it was advertised that it has bluetooth.. it does not.. and now page has been updated to reflect that. also was supposed to have $50 rebate, but no UPC to redeem since laptop was only in pillow wrap...
Windows update nightmare, but otherwise a nice laptop

Summary: I didn't buy this laptop through Amazon, but I figured I'd leave a review anyway. After picking this up at a large box store, I brought it home and booted it up. The initial Windows 8 setup was pretty quick. A few minutes after getting used to the new Windows interface, Windows wanted to update.
Summary: Asus as a brand is great, this laptop looks awesome. As for functionality, it's lacking. It's slow to open simple things such as the web browser. I even did a clean install of Windows 8 to rid the laptop of bloatware, but I had the same result. Pay more for an i5 quad or maybe a different i3
Just Ok laptop, in that price you can find better deals
