It has met my standards

Eduardo Gonzalez, Amazon
19 March 2014
  • Summary: This computer was meant to be light use. Only for mail checking, youtube videos, social networking, and other light applications. No music downloading has kept the computer clean. If you, however, intend this for work use or special program installation (AutoCAD, etc.) you're going to have a bad time. The i3 processor will give you a nice experience with light computer use.

A solid product

Elaine C. Penn, Amazon
8 December 2013
  • Summary: Have only had it in my hands for about 18 hours but I like it already. Construction feels sturdy, layout is clean and attractive, multi-gesture touchpad works well, keys feel positive when typing, having a number pad is helpful since I'm a bookkeeper,.screen is bright, speakers have good volume. Bought this one because it has Windows 7, not Windows 8. Only wish: more USB ports; it only has two.

OK Computer!

Colin, Amazon
16 July 2013
  • Summary: I didn't have any problems getting a hold of this computer. I threw around a few ideas on different models and brands, just researching before I came to a definite conclusion. I am happy with this purchase, but the page listing the information on this particular model is incorrect. Under 'graphics processor' it is said to have a GeForce GT 540M chip. Which would be a phenominal graphics chip for such a cheap notebook. That is why I had bought this model. ...

Complete Junk for anyone above a Casual PC User... BUT!

Washed Up Wings, Amazon
10 July 2013
  • Summary: If you do more than check e-mails and facebook every few days, you WILL be disappointed. The flashy screen and 4 GB or RAM got me on this one. In the first few days, BSOD! I code, make music in FL Studio and video edit in Sony Vegas, not only is the processor slow, but it's an unstable system. So far within 4 months of owning this laptop, i've gotten 3 blue screens. All my work had been lost!

Really good for the price

C. Giglio, Amazon
2 July 2013
  • Summary: Only complaint is the keyboard. The pad should really be centered, it's to the left a bit and it causes me to click the wrong button quite a bit. Otherwise, we're happy with it's performance.

Keyboard is problematic

Economics9698, Amazon
28 June 2013
  • Summary: The keyboard and speakers are not the best. If you write a lot it is a issue. If this is a travel computer with limited typing its good for the money.

Well Priced

Nater, Newegg
10 June 2013
  • Pros: I bought this for my daughter and wife for Christmas, and they both love it. Haven't had any issues whatsoever. As someone said earlier, it's not really for gaming (although Daughter has Angry Birds and it does fine) Just a really good deal all around
  • Cons: well it'd probably up the cost by a hundred bucks or so to have Microsoft Office installed, but some kind of word processor would've been nice. Currently using AbiWord
