Summary: After only three months it stopped charging. The problem is not the jack but the charger port in the laptop. It only charges if you hold it in tight. The second you let go, it's back in battery mode losing charge. I've googled this and now seen others with the same complaint. Normally love ASUS quality - the laptop is otherwise great. I wonder how widespread this is.
Summary: I had to return it. It had issues that I could not correct. I have had an Asus laptop for several years which I love, so I'm not knocking the company, and Adorama Camera was prompt on accepting the return and refund. I often purchase from Amazon and have no problem with them. I think I just got a "lemon.

Summary: Good performing laptop. Was bought last year and worked perfectly fine for about 6 months then the problems started. Power adapter failures, motherboard failures. The laptop returned back checked and fixed but still dead??? did they really check it before returning it back? Now, if there is a faulty power adapter, why do we need to return the whole laptop? (and yes the power adapter has an LED on it that indicates it is not working).
