Excerpt: Well after many years only using Acer laptops and always recomending Acer to my friends and family, when the time came to upgrade again I thought this time I would have a change. Only that the price was right and very similar to the price I was going to pay for the Acer equivilent I thought I would...
Excerpt: I bought this when my Acer laptop played up from new. so I returned it to the store and I was offered the ASUS as an alternative. It took ages to load everything up but once up and running very fast access. We have BT infinity internet. very fast and copes well with all internet access.
Pros: East to use, well spaced keys, good web cam .
Excerpt: From using this peice of equipment for a year i have found it easy to use. This laptop comes with windows 7 and has sufficient programmes. The software is very good and allows quick upload and download speeds.
Pros: Good quality screen, comfortable, reliable and quick .
Summary: I bought this model of note book from Electrical 123 in August 2011. It has the I5 processor and 8gb of ram - because of this the battery life is very low, about 45 minutes. The sound in appalling, even on the highest settings I can hardly hear it.
Summary: I've had my Asus laptop for some years now and its never really been very friendly, inasmuch as its thrown more Wobblies than a doll with a loose head, I've had to reinstall windows at least five times, through the HDD partition which has a copy of win 7 O/S.
Summary: I've heard some good stuff about ASUS recently so decided to go with my instincts. I brought the X52f as I wanted something at a reasonable with a good processor (core i3). I have been using it for a couple of weeks now and its been great.
Summary: I fond the machine very slow, so added more ram. It was still slow. I then sold it and traded up to a model which had a better spec; most others I noticed selling similar variant/s already included 4GB ram. Just as it says i3 don't think that automatically means good performance.
